  • how to get the application on my softmodded xbox :/

  • If your using a xbox to power the HD then use the following steps IF IT TURNS ITSELF OFF DURING CLONING PROCESS. 1. It must be a softmodded xbox. 2. Turn it on and let it boot to hacked dash completely. 3. Unplug the power cord from the HD then you should have a constant power flow. BE CAREFUL USING THIS METHOD!

  • @ClintBeastwoodI

I believe this only happens if you don't attach a video cable of some kind. Did you try this?

  • Hey, this video really helped! Though let me throw out a tip to some people who had the same trouble getting Chimp to recognize the slave drive.

Instead of how swapping the new drive after the Chimp tool has loaded, do it once your non-MS dashboard has fully loaded. First hot swap without the power connected to the new slave drive, and then connect the power to it. Then load the Chimp tool, and now it should recognize the new drive instead of "Xbox DVD Drive".

  • @PirateOfTheInternet

Great. Glad it helped, thanks for the tip; I wasn't aware that it was a factor.

  • Does this process automatically reformat the hard drive for you? I found a hard drive that is on the compatibility list and was wondering if I have to do anything to "Prep" it. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated!

  • @GamerMatwevias

Even if it was previously formatted in FATX, it will be formatted again when you click "format", so back up anything on it that you still wanna keep.

  • sweet ;P

  • @TheYoshiPC

    It's crazy stuff...

  • when i plug my new hard drive in and scan the ied, it only shows my original hdd and my dvd drive. What can i do??????

  • @TheNeekboo

Disconnect the DVD Drive and plug in the other hard drive instead.

  • what the hell you didnt show a clear view of what happened with the y splitter.

  • @TheBull06

I didn't actually have a Y Splitter in the video, but they are pretty straightforward.

  • Hey man thanks for the tutorial, I used it to upgrade my first ever xbox a while ago. But I have a question. I'm currently running a 500GB hard drive and I plan to upgrade to 2TB, could I just do the same process with Chimp again with my 500GB to the 2TB? Thanks

  • @CloudStrife2k6

To be honest, I really can't quite remember. There might be something you've gotta do, but I'm not 100% sure.

I will point you to the New XBMC community forums (which can be found at XBMC4XBOX dawt 0rg), and there are many knowledgeable members there in the ever increasing userbase who know more than I do on the matter. Hopefully they'll be able to hook you up.

Hope it works out for you.

  • After weeks of trying this is the only thing that worked! Thanks dude, your awesome! :D

  • What were you doing when locking drive? The part where Selecting those four boxes

  • @2BunnyReturns I was just given an xbox and I believed it was softmodded. It has xbmc and about 10 games on it. I want to check whether the person who gave me the xbox has upgraded the hdd or not, but I can't find the disk space anywhere.

  • @chenxiaozhu123456789

Can you access the XBMC file explorer? It should tell either a free space or capacity in there.

  • @2BunnyReturns This may sound silly but I have no idea where and how to access the XBMC file explorer. And now that I looked at the bottom of my xbox, there are evidence that it has been opened before, so it was either to change the harddrive or to perform hardmod. How do I tell the difference between hardmod and softmod?

  • @chenxiaozhu123456789

The file explorer is accessed differently depending on what skin you're running right now.

For telling the difference between a hardmod and a softmod, there are a number of ways. Usually, if you see something out of the ordinary (like a logo or strange colors) on the Xbox flubber, that's a dead giveaway of a hardmod, although the lack of one doesn't necessarily mean you're not chipped.

If you can open it up and see a modchip, that'll tell you too.

  • @2BunnyReturns Sorry a few more questions.

How do I get the linux and chimps program onto my xbox? burn it on a dvd and use dvd2xbox?

If I use a molex 'Y" splitter, do I just plug in the power at the same stage where you turn on your other xbox?

Do you have any experience using a SATA hdd and a SATA to IDE adapter, would it work with this program?

  • @chenxiaozhu123456789

To get the program on there, just follow the instructions in the video.

You don't need to wait to plug the power in - right when you start the system up is fine.

As for the SATA/IDE adapter question, I really don't know what to tell you because I've never tried them before, although I have heard of it being done successfully and the good people over at the XBMC4XBOX community forums should be able to help you out with it if you become stumped.

    Good Luck!

  • so where could i buy a bigger hard drive for my xbox?

  • @agresive

eBay, Craiglist, WalMart,, chain stores, Pawn Shop, resale shop, GoodWill Stores locations, Target, laying around your house, etc.

  • GameStop, wholesale/refurb/resell stores, Ebay Classifieds, Ebay, Craigslist, Pawn Shops, Thrift Stores etc.

  • and Amazon.

  • hi can a hard drive from a non modded xbox be put in to a soft modded 1 ( might evan be chipped i dunno ) but basicly i wan all my old saves but dunno how to transver then , so was wondering can they be swapped then upgraded of wtever

  • @adamruddockshrek

Not unless they shared a hard drive key. Remember, it's the contents of the hard drive that make a console softmodded, so if you took the hard drive out of it, the console would no longer be modded. If it were chipped, you could unlock your stock hard drive and put it in there too, but that's beside the point:

The best way to migrate your saves over would be to quickly softmod your stock machine, then copy the saves inside the save folders over.

  • DOes anyone know how to put a bigger hard drive into an xbox that is not modded yet? I am getting really frustrated.

  • Comment removed

  • @jman224333

ignore my last comment. How many points on the screws holding the xbox case together.

  • @CrewRite

    Six.

  • @2BunnyReturns

might be a T-10 Torx screw driver (sometimes called a #0). Amazon*.com, GameStop or Home Depot will have those.

    Its torx for sure.

  • @CrewRite

The case is actually held with T20s. The smaller ones on the inside are somewhere in the neighborhood of T10s though.

  • @2BunnyReturns

Were you unsure about the HardDrive type, how to insert the drive or opening the case?

  • @CrewRite

Well, you'll need a standard IDE hard drive. You can insert the drive by unscrewing the screws securing the old one in the caddy and putting your new one in. You can open the case by loosening the six T20 screws on the bottom of the case.

  • @2BunnyReturns

    Sorry wrong person.

  • @jman224333

To be honest, you can't really do that. It has to be modded in some way or another. Why would you need a larger hard drive on an unmodified system anyway?

  • @2BunnyReturns Well i wanted to put a bigger hard drive in it then mod it. So can i just hot swap it and transfer all the files from the old hard drive to the new one?

  • Getting "error loading kernel/Apps/Xbox Save Folder/vmlinuz" any clue why that may be happening?

  • @EzB8KuVN

Are you sure you put the files in the right locations?

  • no it cant be locked but i'll keep searching 4 a hard drive ok!!! thanks

  • @slimjohnify

If the drive in question is a good value hard drive that you like, it might be cheaper to get a modchip or even just do a TSOP flash (which don't require a locked hard drive) if any of these are cheaper for you than buying a hard drive.

  • ok thanks!!!! but 1 more thing i have a maxtor d740x-6l 20 gb i dont know if that could lock i didnt see it on the hard drive compatibility chart please help once again... thank u!!!

  • @slimjohnify

Have you tried locking the Maxtor?

  • i have the chimp program but want 2 know which part on the xbox the files have 2 go..... i have the program on the pc please let me know

  • @slimjohnify

The instructions will tell. They need to go in a few different locations.

  • Thank you soo much! I was so close to haveing to buy an IDE card just to run xboxhdm!

  • thanks a lot, this video helped me upgrade to a 160 gb drive, a lot better then the stock ahha 144895.08 mb free xD

  • @HXLONEWOLF

That's the best part. Glad I could help ☺

  • i set up chimps like it said... but now i am getting a green screens when i boot it from the apps

  • @creepingbullits82

Read the instructions, and everything will go smoothly.

  • can you replace a hard drive of your xbox with the hard drive of regular computer?

  • @vasquez123100

Only if you follow the instructions in the video ☺.

  • where do i get the chimp program?

  • @kriblez

I think I put a link in the description somewhere.

  • how come my screen stays green ?

  • @millzie5

Probably because you have a version 1.6 Xbox. Nothing wrong with that.

  • @2BunnyReturns Seems i dont , ive got a see through xbox being a 1.3 i can run the linux chimp 2.6 but it counts down from 5 then starts up linux and comes up with errors then says i can ftp into it so i ftp into it and hit enter and it does nothing with a green flashing tab and xboxs led is flashig green too :/

  • @millzie5

Strange I've never heard of that before. Can you maybe post a photo or explain exactly what these errors are saying?

  • @2BunnyReturns Alright heres the crack, i got the linux 2.6 chimp version bootable via cd so that iso is now burnt i still need an original xbox controller to start the linux program , borrowing my cousins tonight if he remembers and hopefully my spare ide hdd is not dead or fucked some how, ill get back to you soon as i can but yeah that 2.4 didnt work on my xbox crystal or clear xbox.

  • @millzie5

I don't think the case should have anything to do with what software works and doesn't work on your Xbox. Are you sure you put the files in the correct folders as per the instructions?

  • When it comes to locking your hard drive, that is a thing every hard drive is capable of, right? It's just a software thing, not a switch you change on the physical drive?

  • @REXanadu

That's the thing - not all of them like to be locked. It is a software thing, but some hard drives just don't work with that. Check the link in the video description to see if perhaps others have had positive or negative experiences with your hard drive. It is quite a lengthy list.

  • @jarrettmitchell

You've got a Version 1.6 Xbox. Check for the instructions to get onto there with TelNet.

  • its called buy an xbox360 you dumb ass!

  • @viper61979

What is called "Buy an Xbox 360"?

  • Im still having same problem as xext313. xbox powering slaved hdd turns off since it has no real hdd to boot from. I dont have another gaming console or desktop to use for an alternate power supply. Did you have to due anything specific to keep power supply running bunny?

  • @marshall070685

Just keep the Xbox turned on. Are you using a Molex Splitter?

  • Comment removed

  • So if i have my hard drive 60Gb cloned to a 500 Gb hard drive at a P.C. Reapir center can i just throw it back in my xbox and it work ?

  • @xboxvidiot

I would like to know this myself.

  • @xboxvidiot

Nope, on a softmod (assuming that is what you've got - modchips don't need this) the HDD is locked. You can do that thing you were talking about if you've got XBOXHDM and a backup of your EEPROM.

  • @2BunnyReturns Mine isnt a softmod, i have an Xecuter 3 modchip. So i can just clone and replace the HD ?

  • @xboxvidiot

    Yep. No locking required.

  • is this an app xBox Hard Drive upgrade supplies/lmk bc im going to try this shit so i can stop getting code 5 and stop trying to solder flash points

  • @MYDRAGGIN84

You need to lock your hard drive to get rid of error 5.

  • @2BunnyReturns i got err 6 bc i got another xbox hdd i fired an mortherboard i cant even get the chimps screen to show it shows green im like fuck everything i try to build an hdd dont fucking work

  • @MYDRAGGIN84

Error code six means your hard drive is locked, but with a different key. Did you try to pull a hard drive from a different Xbox perhaps, because they all have different keys. Before you worry about telnet and stuff, you have to have your console's original Hard drive or a backup of the EEPROM for both hard drives.

  • @2BunnyReturns Yes i took it out another xbox but i was going to do hddmaker and unloack and rebuild the hdd from scharted then lock it to that xbox .I'm trying to us it on scents i cant do it this way on the video.Oh well plus that xbox got fried do to water damaged.or I can us an eeproom reader and bring it back to normal state of mind

  • @MYDRAGGIN84

If your Xbox is broken, you may not be able to upgrade its hard drive. You may need a new power supply, motherboard/hdd, USB board (if you've got a version 1 Xbox), or even a new DVD drive depending on the degree of the water damage. My advice would be to switch out parts to see if it is worth repairing.

  • @xext313

Well, you'll need a different power supply or a Molex splitter...

  • Hi, I'm going to be using an old hard drive from a computer that has data on it. Will Chimp remove this data, or will I have to format the hard drive before I upgrade to it?

  • @SnaffleJBean

I think it'll just overwrite everything when it is formatted to FATX.

  • can i just take any old regular pc hard drive and do this or nno

oh and another question can i ak a pc and plug a slave harddrive in it and copy the c drive from my xbox to it because i ftp'd my c drive on to my pc

  • @1AntoineHill

Can you repeat that in simpler English please?

  • how do you make it select full disc bit by bit insead of by partion? it wouldnt let me change it from by partion

  • @vegetafinalflash1000

Was that an option you saw in the video that you saw differently on your console?

  • Comment removed

  • @vegetafinalflash1000

I think something to do with the thumbsticks being the "click" or something. I vaguely remember...

  • I'm only receiving 3 options on the xromwell menu, Am I doing something wrong?

  • @Dawdsmeister

    Which options would those be?

  • @2BunnyReturns

I figured out what I did wrong there and managed to fix it, I now am running other problems. I have to go through Telnet to get pass the green screen. But Its not picking up my Slave drive properly when I scan hardware, It gives me a bunch of information that I can't quite understand.

  • @Dawdsmeister

Has anyone tried the hard drive before? Did you set the drive as "slave"?

  • @2BunnyReturns

The HDD is WD1600 series and has locked before, Also I set the jumper pin to slave.

  • @Dawdsmeister

And you're getting stuck at the "scan physical IDE devices" part? It is giving you an error there?

  • @2BunnyReturns

Yes that is the part that I'm currently having issues with, As I'm using Telnet its hard to see what I'm doing, but it scans for a while then gives a whole bunch of info I can't understand or make out properly.

  • @Dawdsmeister

And after that you can't make it back to the menu? If you can, have you tried doing the upgrade even with the nonsense coming up?

  • @2BunnyReturns

I tried anyway, Once the new HDD was installed it would boot to the Xbox splash screen then just a black screen. They're are no different colored lights or anything.

  • @Dawdsmeister

When you said that you "tried anyway", did the console make any effort to finish? Did it take a little bit, or did it finish right away, because it is a time consuming process when it works right (depending on how much stuff you had on the original hard drive).

  • @2BunnyReturns

It didn't appear to be making any attempt to finish and just went straight back to the options menu, As far as I could tell the drives were not reading anything.

  • @Dawdsmeister

    Hmmm...

Do you have any other spare drives? You don't have to go through with the whole process, just see if you can get to the "scan physical IDE devices" part. That way we can see what might be the culprit here.

  • Don't add music to your tutorials please, it's too distracting.

  • @heardcountybrave

Please forward all sound related complaints to the volume control; specifically the "mute" button ☺

  • @2BunnyReturns Oh right, so that way when I mute the music I can't hear your "So-Called" explanation on what to do. That's just GENIUS! You definitely are the best Youtuber ever! You totally know how to win over subscribers. Word of advice, it helps to take suggestions to make your "So-Called" tutorials better, rather then be a sarcastic prick. Just food for though :)

  • Great guide...i will be trying to clone my Stock xbox hardrive to my older Chipped Hardrive and hope it leaves the F partition alone lol

  • Thank you for this. I now have 60gigs of open space to put xbox, ps1, and plenty of other games on.

  • hopefully u can answer this on for me whats the biggest drive u put in befoe? like if i put in a 200 or larger in do i have to format past F ? like g or should i be all good? and have u ever upgraded one that was already upgraded? cause i trid it once and it didnt copy the F partition and any of my games or emulators but it was acrappy hd

  • @RA7ICU5

Couldn't tell you. I've never tried bigger than 80GB. I'm pretty sure the question was most likely already answered on The Xbox Scene Community Forums.

  • @RA7ICU5 I have a 500GB in one and a 750GB in the other, you need to create a G partition and format them with xbpartitoner to 64k clusters.

  • @theronkinator

I have put a 80gb harddrive in a xbox with no problem but was thinking of using a 1tb hrddrive in another xbox and never used xbpartitoner before. Would you be able to tell me what to?

  • @kb96215

To be honest, I really don't know much about installing larger hard drives. I would check out the Xbox Scene "Skinnex" Community forums. I'm sure they've got some tutorials posted on there that might point you in the right direction. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

    Good Luck.

  • Alright, I plugged in my 2nd hard drive, then it started to say "records in, records out" buisness. At around 450 records in, the screen went black. I'm using chimps 2.4. Should I turn of my xbox and try again? :/

  • @Oveneise

Nope. I'm pretty sure its a "screensaver mode". I remember something like that happening on mine. Just hit an arrow key or something on the controller.

  • @2BunnyReturns

Not to bug you, but how long does it usually take to clone the drive? I used... I believe around 3 or 2.5 gigs on my original HDD.

  • Oh and FlashFXP works fantastic. Its the only FTP program I use. But sometimes files don't transfer all the time. A good alternative is is C-Box tool. And... you don't NEED to pay for FlashFXP. *cough TPB cough* ;)

  • @Oveneise

Yessir - TPB *Cough* is a very useful tool.

  • I just ordered a Western Digital WD3000JB drive. To set it to "slave", should it have a physical switch on the hard drive, or will I need to set it to slave on my desktop somehow?

  • @Oveneise

Usually they have a small jumper on the end of the drive next to where the data and power cables attach to it.

  • my screen goes all green when i press A on fatx (E)

  • @sparky1570784

Cool. It sounds like thats a common problem on "Version 1.6" Xbox consoles. See the link I put in the description that will take you to a page with an explanation of using TelNet to finish upgrading the hard drive on a 1.6 Xbox (if the link still works ☺).

  • the controlls what are the controlls? for the blue menu you just magicly select that chimp shit wtf is going on at 6:46 ?

  • @sparky1570784

The controller is your controls. Once you get to "Xbox Linux Xromwell 2.41 Dev" (blue background), select "FATX" (Drive "E"). If you have more than one Linux "item" installed on your Xbox, you will see the Menu that is in the video at 6:51 (LOL! I squeaked at that part in the video. My voice sounded so weird back then). If not, it'll skip straight to where the video resumes at 7:06.

    Good Luck!

  • @2BunnyReturns ok well i press A on FATx and it goes to a green screen what now?

  • @sparky1570784

See earlier comment. Here, I've pasted it here so you don't have to scroll three posts up to look at it ☺:

"Cool. It sounds like thats a common problem on "Version 1.6" Xbox consoles. See the link I put in the description that will take you to a page with an explanation of using TelNet to finish upgrading the hard drive on a 1.6 Xbox (if the link still works ☺)." - 2 Bunny (2010)

  • @2BunnyReturns thanks ill give it a try when i get home :D

  • I can't FTP my Xbox Original and I tried to copy the files myself from my old 10.2GB HDD to my 20GB Western Digital HDD, but my old HDD is deader than a doornail. Can I just make a simple hard drive from scratch or do I need to get the EEPROM from my Xbox since the old 10.2GB HDD smoked weed when I tried to get the hard drive to work again with my computer...

  • @WinVistaUser2

So what exactly is the problem then?

  • @2BunnyReturns I can make a new hard drive, but my Xbox gives me either an error 05 or 06 (HDD cannot be unlocked/locked) aong with a RRoD. And my old hard drive doesn't work at all. However, I might test the old Seagate ST310014ACE Hard Drive to see if it actually works. I hope it does.

  • @WinVistaUser2 Edit: the Hard Drive powers up, but clicks and stops spinning. The logic board is going. Time to go shopping on eBay for a logic board, or I can just try to fix the hard drive myself.

  • @WinVistaUser2

To be honest, I work with these every day and In my opinion, its not worth it to save a 10GB HDD. I know that you're trying to save the environment, but with it having started "smoking" (as you said in your other video) and all this other stuff, who's to say that the platters and read/write head are still intact? Even if you do get a new board, I don't know where the HDD Key is stored (on the drive or the board) and if it would work.

(See Part 2, another reply to your comment)

  • @WinVistaUser2 (Part 2 - See Part 1 First if you haven't already. YouTube limits the length of comments)

I guess the bottom line is, the only hope for this console is to fix the current drive, or read the EEPROM with an EEPROM Reader to get the drive key. Like I said before, I don't know if the HDD Key itself is stored on the actual drive, or on the board, so a new board may or may not be the way to go. Seeing as you've dumped money into it already, you've got no other choice but one of these.

  • question i did the upgrade and it worked great so my main box now has 40 gb and it auto formatted the f drive so all i had to do was make a games folder and it was smooth from there then i got a 120 gb hd ad did the upgrade from the 40 when i booted up it seemed all good bt all my games and emulators werent there does it not copy a preformatted f drive or something? i just really wanna get the big drive in there

  • @RA7ICU5

    Couldn't tell you. I just don't know.

Sorry. Maybe try the XBox Scene "Skinnex" community forums. They've done a whole lot to help me there, and I have helped other people myself.

  • @2BunnyReturns alright here is what im gonna do after work i have the 120 gb drive in there i tried to copy the c e and f partition still boots but nothing from my e and f is in there maybe i can try to just copy the e and f drive but the weird thiung is my apps are still there even though i put them in my e/apps folder

  • worked gret best tutorial out there thanks dude

  • I have considered it, Question: Why do people add music to their videos? To communicate something? Any why do people sometimes post videos or videos, like cell phone videos of TV shows... makes not sense... where is my shotgun????

  • @averagemale2000

Good questions indeed. To answer your first question about adding music to videos, its to fill the otherwise awkwardly silent spaces in the video.

The answer to the second question is that I was unable to just record the screen by normal means (video input card on the computer) because the computer room in our home is too crowded to have the camera, console, network and whatnot. Don't worry, I'm not one of "them"; I wouldn't normally do that or anything.

  • @2BunnyReturns your video is fine, you narrirate it and its a video of what you are demonstratiing and not a video of a video, like some people point their cell phone cameras at thier TVs and post that... that is what I was referring to....

  • @averagemale2000

    Oh, Okay. Gotcha.

Sounds good, glad you enjoyed it. ☺

  • @2BunnyReturns I posted a video about the old hard drive and the problem. Thanks for helping and replying.

  • my friends and I really love your guy music, we like dancing to it.... please consider reposting this video without the music, thanks.

  • @averagemale2000

Actually, its not mine. Its Ted Nugent.

If you've got a problem with the music, you can fix it in three easy steps:

    1. Locate Shotgun and Ammo

    2. Load Shotgun with Ammo

    3. Annihilate Speakers With shotgun

Then give yourself a nice pat on the back ☺

  • my friends and I really love your guy music, we like dancing to it....

  • @averagemale2000

    Thanks...?

  • I followed the instructions and placed the linx boot in E:/ and placed the Xromwell folder and the xbox saves folder in the apps folder.

    Things I tried:

    1. Booted Xromwell, chose E:/(Fat X), it acted as if it is going to load something and then it freezes up at a green screen.

    2. I tried to launch chimps by itself (deafult.xbe in xbox saves folder) and it just displayed wavy lines.

    3. Changed xromwell.xbe to default.xbe. It loaded up and started to load kernal linuz but just froze there.

  • @SiKBacKFiR3

If you're struggling with Xromwell freezing, sometimes things plugged in to those plugs in the front. For me, I can't use the third party controllers. Try unplugging everything except for one first party controller and give it another go.

    Good Luck.

  • @2BunnyReturns

Well I have found out that the program "chimps" itself doesn't work (at least on my xbox anyway). I'm not sure what xromwell is but it works just fine, chimps however doesn't display, when ran it displays wavy lines and static. It has the look like when you accidently launch a PAL bit of software and the screen messes up.

  • @SiKBacKFiR3

Just ignore "chimps". All you need is Xromwell, launch the tool, and you'll be good to go.

  • Very nice tutorial. Your unconventional (mis)pronunciations of "linux" and "IDE" were amusing. Linux is pronounced with a short i as in tin or a shortened version of the name Linda. IDE is pronounced as if you were spelling it, saying each letter separately instead of one word.

Anyway it's not a big deal, but something you should know if you get into working with computers. At any rate, this tutorial was spot on, very easy! Thanks! What was with the jumpy audio towards the end?

  • 2 questions 1 doesi it automatically unlock and lock when i clone or do i need to do it myself if so when? 2 after its all done and cloned then i gotta enable f drive?

  • @RA7ICU5

When you clone, your new drive has to be already unlocked (which it most likely is, unless you had it in another softmodded Xbox). After cloning, you do have to hit the "lock" button as laid out in the instructions.

To answer that second question, I would say no. After I cloned and locked, I just reset my jumper settings, popped in the new drive and reboot. It recognized the space and labeled it as drive "F" right away. Let me know if it doesn't do the same for you, I'll ask around.

  • @2BunnyReturns i have a bunch of soft modded xboxes so u say that they should aready be unlocked? that sounds easy then but i do remember when looking in system options in unleashed x dashboard there is an option to unlock hd because of that i didnt know if it was already locked or not but i have never switched any hd's around

  • @RA7ICU5

Nope, softmodded Xbox Hard drives should all be locked.

  • Thanks for the instructions, I'm yet to try it but I saw this along with other bundled softwares on the Auto Installer Deluxe disc. I'm just getting a hang of what each can do and I was curious about Chimp. This cleared it up for me and I saw another that screen display said Nimesis I think. Don't know what it is does but don't want to brick the system by trying, being a Newbie and all. Thanks again for the instructions.

  • @maxcoll650

Sounds cool. What can Nimesis do for myself and for the community?

  • All right performed the upgrade this morning and it went perfect! Thanks a lot for the great video and links!

  • CS1 6 Patch v26 download plis :"C aushuahs anti local bam xBox Hard Drive

  • Ok so I'm a little unclear on what files I need moved to my Xbox and where they need to be at. The link you give for downloading...I don't see anything about Chimpanzee. I just see 'linuxboot configuration File" "Xbox Save Folder" and "Xromwell" Is that everything I need? Could you go into more detail?

  • @JerryTerrifying

Inside of each folder are some instructions labeled "Instructions.txt". These can be found inside of each folder, and tell you what to do with each one:

    "LinuxBoot Configuration File>Instructions.txt"

    "xbox save folder>Instructions.txt"

Good Luck. In hindsight, having three sets of instructions may have been a little bit confusing, glad you're working through it though.

    "xromwell>Instructions.txt"

  • does this work with the slim?
