  • ahhhhhh

  • Awesome

  • mom hamster: omg when is my shift over??? she looks like a good moma thought to those pinkies

  • The mother of the baby hamsters would only eat the hamter(s) if its different from the rest like a missing leg or ear or if the baby is ill or if someone disturbs them or touches then thats why its highly recommended that noone touches a baby hamster after birth just leave the mum too it.

  • @iloveanimals101jen

Nope, you can't. Would just be plain mean, 'cause they wouldn't survive :( They need their mother for quite a while, and it's actually best if they stay a week longer than nessecary with her, 'cause they develop something in that time..

  • @iloveanimals101jen acctually some pet shops sell hamsters and other rodents like that so that people can feed them to their pet snakes etc

  • can you buy hamsters like when they don't have fur and ther just babbies plaese tell me

  • i got 2 hamsters mothers.. 11 brothers and sisters born.. i was thinking they are so cute.. after 6weeks .. only 2 left.. because brothers and sisters eating each other..

  • if anyone are afraid to breed theyr hamsters ,try to not get the female hamster disturbed cos she will think that she is threatned and will eat her babies, better it wold be to not keep her in the cold with her babies or not to disturb her to much. if this didn't help go and get a book about hamsters!!!!! (this is a comment for the people who want to breed theyr hamsters, but too scared to do it)

  • So cute. I can't wait until my mice have babies.

  • @imabadspeler watch them bc they will eat the babies.

  • @mikeyray68 They don't always eat the babies.

  • @imabadspeler didnt say they do. just letting them know to watch out. mine ate all her babies except one.

  • TheAnimalAdvice seriously? This was from 3 years ago and you're asking for the babies? Most of them probably died by now...

  • @bio2020 yeh thats true... my hamster did it to her babies, its because we kept on taking her babies from her thats y and then when we put them back with her she gets all possesive and puts them in her mouth :/

  • Good mommy :)

  • OMG Cuteness overload...*explode*

  • Ok, I've been looking through baby hamster vids on YouTube, and all of them have some form of "the mothers eat their babies", and ok they sometimes do, but I just want to see some cute little hamsters.

Why do I always have to look at the comments?

  • @dirulovely the baby hamsters are eaten cuz people touch them when they arent supposed to.

  • alot of animals eat there babies like dogs do that to

  • Please answer to this how the hell do you take care of them.

  • @Krispieeeee2013 you don't really need to, that's why they have a mother, and nature knows best ;). Even so, you should make sure there's enough bedding and the mom consumes enough proteins to produce milk, otherwise she might stress out because of not being able to feed them and abandon them or eat them. But you don't really need to do anything for the babies.

  • omg i have and had a winter white hamster that looks like that :O

  • i had one who just ate the heads of the babies

  • omg!!! urs look excatly like mine! look at my vieo on mine~

  • look at them! they look like cute little worm things :D careful, moms will eat their babies o_0 what if HUMANS sometimes ate their babies? WHAT IS OUR WORLD COMING TO!?!?!?!?!?

  • LoliConSkullz -- Thanks for the clarification. The "immediately" in my comment referred to someone's earlier question, but that wasn't obvious to later readers. And you're right on the general point: you definitely shouldn't separate the mother and pups until they're old enough to fend for themselves.

  • Sorry bionca88 if I comented WAYYYY to much, its just I love answering questions, and apoligize if I'm getting in the way of anyone else coments.

  • @LoliConSkullz I don't see any problem with it. You're being very helpful and informative.

  • @pavucicka

I think they do eat them if the babies have human smell, that's what I heard. Though, I don't really wanna take the risk and test that, since I only have 3 pups :/

  • @Pitikitty Its ok after a few days. Some parents would be ok with you holding them at any age, but its better to wait to take the risk once they atleast look alittle darker. Its ok at long as you dont frighten the Mom or mess with the baby. Some Moms with just eat them all. You should keep her full of protein, and dont make her think she's not capable of taking care of them. Thats the reason most hammys would eat their babies.

  • where iz the stuff from the hamsters coming from lol?!

  • lol i wanna eat them there so cute

  • how many babies does a dwarf ham give birth to?

  • @pigpal2 It usually depends, sometimes onhelth. This may sound alittle funny estimate, but I think that she'll only have as many hammys as a mommy is capable of nursing. Some hammys have tons, and some have 2 to 3. I have no idea about dwarf hammys, I'd assume the're just smaller versions of normal hamsters, correct me if I'm wrong.

  • so sweet

  • The babies look like embryos that we saw in science class...

  • @haiyuong43097 Its probably because hammys give birth much earlier than a human would, the're just like the embryos in a way, their eyes haven totally formed or opened yet, and like most baby's have very little hair.

  • @LoliConSkullz Baby hamsters are a lot like embryos because that's practically what they are. Hamsters have a shorter gestation period than any other mammal on the planet.

  • @tnielsenhayden mice and rats also have a short gestation period.

  • the babies are kinda ugly.........but they are cuter with hair

  • i don't get it y do baby hamsters get eaten because they got touch by an human?

    someone plz tell me y

  • @Stevencc1988 they also eat them if they have been touched by a human

  • Hamster babies are born blind and with no fur, Guinea pigs are born with fur and full sight. Rate thumbs up for information!!!

  • i can hear the background sound...it must be the male hamster biting the cage wall...hehe... ^ ^

  • sooooo kawaii ;3

  • Cute ;3

  • ang galing galing...pa amoy nga ng kiki

  • a you madakfaca chipichala

    you

  • omg how sweet what type of hamster is that

  • ohhhhhh..... it's sweet

  • my hamham molly never ate any of her babies evan if i handled them she wa a good mama but she died not long after her second litter i kept her son brownie he lived to be a whopping 5 years old mom said it was amazing for a hamham to live that long

  • Comment removed

  • THEY ARE SO CUTE!!

  • Is it okai to leave male dwarf hamsters in the same cage as the female when she is pregnant because on sum websites it ses its ok, i just dont want her to get pregnant while she is nursing babies

  • Good god, yes. Separate them IMMEDIATELY or they'll hurt each other.

You need to learn more about hamsters, so sad things don't happen.

  • do u have a hamster? case i had 2 and 1 was girl and she had babies but we never separated them and they were fine.

  • @tnielsenhayden Yeah, but dont seperate the quite THAT early, it would adgitate the mom and she may eat or neglect some if you have to keep putting her in diffrent cages to nurse them all, it'd probably drive her crazy, usually its best to wait untill she stop nursing to seperate them.

  • i have teddy bear hamster s 2 female and 1 male there getting along well i saw the male mate with both hamsters and its been 4 days since should i separate them all??

  • my dwarf hamster gave birth and she always sits on them is that normal

  • @quepexxuser My hampster does too i googled it and she's just keeping them warm/nursing thing

  • thanks helps alot! now i know she isnt trying 2 suficate them or anything lol!

  • @quepexxuser yeah and dont mess with them or she will get scared and kill them

    :( it really sad!!!

  • my hamster just had babies today

  • another question.. i separate my male and female hammy,, when i put them in the same cage, my male wants to F*CK my female hamster, and the female hamster gets angry.. is that a sign that she's already pregnant? reply plz.. asap.. tnx..

  • yeahh.

  • my female was oso always angry when she got mounted. she was not pregnant then tho.

  • she properly havent accept the male hamster yet/

  • @kwago0o0 It may be, She's probably pregnat. Either that or she thinks she's not capable of nursing babies... or mabey she just thinks the male hammys a butt.

  • another question.. i separate my male and female hammy,, when i put them in the same cage, my male wants to F*CK my female hamster, and the female hamster gets angry.. is that a sign that she's already pregnant? reply plz.. asap.. tnx..

  • omg how do u have to do to keep them alive they r so tiny!

  • @ArabelaBG Unless the Mom neglects them, or tries ro eat them, you just give the a a small amout of hamster formula. but the only thing thats hard about that is that you would have to do it almost every hour on the first few days. So lets pray that if you get hamster babies the mommy wont neglect them.. At least thats what I heard about the kind of formula, its better to look up hamster formula.

  • do i need to seperate the male from the female when giving birth? or is it ok that they're together? reply plz.. tnx

  • @kwago0o0 Separate them.

  • thank you icemom,, its a big help..

  • @icemom09 another question.. is it okay if my female hamster's cage was just at my table?

  • @kwago0o0 I think that is fine. Just don't bother them and let mom do her job.

  • @icemom09 thank you icemom09,, i'm not sure yet if my hamster is pregnant,,

  • U should not have the camera that close to her. She could have eaten them. I am a hamster breeder i have had many females be that way

  • sooo cute <3

  • Sweet little mice :)

  • Благи Мишенца :)

  • Suki San? What a gay name

  • NoShame86? What a gay name

  • Aww...I think I can see where their eyes are going to appear. They are so cute and now look a little like naked mole rats :3 When born lots of rodents look alike like mice and rats and hammies. Very cute :)

  • soooooooo cute!!!!!!!!

  • I have a cute little female hamster named Creampuff she is now 4 months old I want her to meet a male and get babies but I want to know how I could get one related to Creampuff? P.s Creampuff is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute

  • @MRdigital1000 Well you could get any old hamster but not dawrf then about 3weeks she will give birth!!

  • i wouldnt get her pregnate it can be very stress full!!!

  • why would you want to mate her with one of her realitives?

  • sometimes....they eat their babies ;/

  • @bio2020 I saw that before.......creepy....

  • @bio2020 but only when they think that they wont live long.. they are smart

  • @bio2020 The asian hamster is very gentle with her young. The north American street hamster eats her young.

  • @bio2020 if there stress hope they survive

  • @bio2020 yes thats true....sadly....

  • @bio2020 yes, that is why you also don't mess or touch the babys EVER until the right time of growth ( I don't remember when its safe to touch them)
