This is the thing I hate with fandom. They over look WHY things are here and there in games, they just think it looks great and want more. Pyramid head existed in number 2 because it represented an aspect of the main character. Same with most of the monsters in the game. Number four did about the same deal.

Number Five I don't know what the heck the makers were thinking just sticking such a random hodge podge of enemies in.

I'll admit that certain aspects of these games are becoming over used. PH, while incredibly awesome, served no real purpose after game 2 (not to mention the MOVIE).

But, despite that being nothing but fanservice (or, maybe because it is), I can't say I mind some of the old themes or characters reappearing. It's sort of like meeting an old friend again. Doesn't nostalgia count for something?
