@eqsmooth I can almost guarantee you that there are atleast 2 billion people on this planet that would love to live in this country but it is physically and logistically impossible for them to do so. Even the guys I worked with told me they send a large portion of their money back to family in mexico. One of them built a huge house back home and plans to retire there. And look at how great medicare and social security are working out for us. That would be the 19th century & America became sovereign in the 18th. Our population is 300 million+. We are not overcrowded just because we have 12 million undocumented. We are not overpopulated at all. The world is, but not us. Most illegals contribute to our Social Security system. If that fund is still available when you retire you can thank them.

I don't deny the mess & Obama needs to pull an FDR: lay out his overall vision & a solution for immigration. I lived in CA for years & became very interested in the masses of C.Americans & Mexicans into my county. I couldn't tell who was legal or illegal & who was making out better than me. I had more difficulty getting healthcare than they did! They send most of their $ back home! Same on E. Coast. I admit I'm concerned but this issue & others are dividing the country. Many States going rogue.

Even the guys I worked with told me they send a large portion of their money back to family in mexico. One of them built a huge house back home and plans to retire there. It is a very complex problem and I think I'm with you. I want to see the over all plan, this has been going on for years and no one will touch it
