By the way, I know you probably know this but just putting it out there. Never take a corner (if taking it quite fast) in either high or low rpms, I have seen a few friends of mine do that, one also lost control (nissan r32) and poorly understeered and almost hit a tree lol

@marky2112 Yes it is, notice how he doesn't take his hand off of the wheel when the car shifts. I think the automatic is a lot more common than the manual in the turbo, although it can be delivered in manual. The automatic is a double clutch system called PDK, which shifts faster than 99% of humans can, so I'd definitely go for it if you hate shifiting.

coz american carmakers cant make good paddleshifters (yet), porsche first try at paddle shifters were also crap but it has improved a lot with the PDK with proper paddle shifters and not those 'thumb' shifters that they used first... now for the 'fun' factor i dont know anything that a car with manual shift can do that car with good pedal shifters cant.. Believe me this car is a lot of fun to drive..

@masterm01 so you do know porsche has other models with features that youre looking for, you probably also know that this one has dual clutch, the gear change is faster than manual, thats why they are dropping the clutch pedal(and manual stick) for the 2012 gt3 as well... sad news for the 'purist',. hey dont get me wrong i do like stick shifts,but pedal shifters are just faster..

@robertjdm Nope.. not in love with some of the options.. but I can say that this car is the FASTEST car I have ever been in, and I have been in a lot of very fast cars. I have been in cars with much more horsepower but this car uses it so differently... its wicked quick! In my opinion Porsche's technology is currently superior to most other company's.
