at the beginning of the ride, there's a bunch of signs and one of them says "waterfall ahead" when I read that I thought it would be a big drop like the grizzly riverrun at DCA (disney's california adventures) but then I found out that you just go under a little waterfall.

My friends and I was busting up so hard after we went on that ride a month or 2 ago. We got friggen Drinched. Then after we went on that, we headed for Journey to Atlantis to get EVEN MORE DRINCHED. And there was no line for the 2nd ride either. We got lucky. We've been wanting to get wet all day. I guess we got our wish. :D

Hey, has anybody noticed that on Shipwreck Rapids, the waterfall is roaring, but when the raft full of people comes by, they calm down the water current? Same thing for Atlantis, when the people are about to go down the flume, the bowl full of water turns off.

when the waterfall showes up u see another waterfall at the side and guess what! when i was on the raft just happend to slam into the side and made me and me dad hit the second water fall then we hit the regular one man IT WAS AWESOME!!

At 00:35 there is a curve where water cannons are that cost a quarter per shot. Every time I go to Sea World I take like $20 in quarters and just stay at the best cannon they have and get people soaked.

I love the 'macho man' reaction the best.

People come up to me and acctually yell at me sometimes for hitting them with a water cannon and my responce is 'hey, its a water ride, you're supposed to get wet.'

@beetlejuicexx3 I got a LOT of amusement waiting for the boats to appear out of that tunnel (at 0:21 ) and then soaking them with the water canons. The best ones are at that spot and EVERYONE on the boat cops it! Haha.
