  • I'm trying to find a guitar neck without the fretboard (not sans fretboard like some strats but a neck that is supposed to have a fretboard but is missing one). I am doing it for an experimental guitar concept. Any suggestions on what I should do? I'm trying to keep it inexpensive.

  • what does this do to your playing?

  • nice video, im heavily considering doing this to an old cheap guitar of mine mainly out of boredom and i want to see if i can make it a faster guitar as well

  • hey...how do you re decal your guitar? my squire is a little old the wod is kinda yellowish..after i sand the suire logo of and insaled new decal.the color of the wood would not be even ath the back of the headstock..pls help

  • @djonathan06 I haven't done one yet. I'd sand the face of the headstock to clear it. I haven't decided if I"m going to buy one online, use inkjet decal sheets, or laser printer onto transparency stock. I need to do some tests. re yellow matching, the only thing I can think of is tape off the original parts and then place the neck out in the sun for a few hours daily until the new clearcoat on front comes close. You'd want to shield any other exposed area of the guitar if you do that.

  • @theguitaryears thank you for the info.. im curently building a diy strat. and i had a squire neck . ill try your sugestion. ill add u up incase i have questions
