@kitaronicus i was originally going to do that via strings, so that each leg would move with the opposite leg (my right leg - back left leg, my left leg - back right leg). but that would be very complicated, & if things went wrong (tangled up, tears), it would be difficult.
plus, you also have to apply physics to the suit; i wouldnt be able to sit down properly & would have trouble walking. this is obviously the best way to get 4 legs to move without much complications.

Even if you connected the opposite legs I believe you could sit down.
