I attended this show in December '96 at the Henry Kaiser Auditorium in Oakland. Great show, was happy I got to see them before they broke up the following year. Hopefully they'll tour again this year. Thanks for posting.
Amazing how he plays the rythm guitar and sings at the same time. 2 completely different beats, specially the bridge. Fucking impossible song to perform. Does any one kno how his guitar is tuned? I really want to give it a try.
not terribly difficult to sing and play this song, one would think, but the tuning makes it a very easy and genious song. The tuning is, starting with the high E and moving to the lowest - goes E-G-G-C-G-C. Hope that helps. There is one tricky part that many dont pick up, in the start of the chorus, bar the12th frets, then keep your ring finger on the 12th frets of strings 1,2,3 (normally e,b,g) when you make the first change (to the 9th frets). Then bar the 9th fret all together on next change
i know right! people that really don't understand the inside and out of music would miss that, but thats so hard to do and makes me respect chris cornell so much more
ho god crhis in this period destroyed his voice with the excess of cigarrettes and alcohol, is a shame, because his voice was unique!!!1 peace in the world and i hope soundgarden comeback...!!!
my favourite song of all time from soundgarden

I believe that its like Open C or C chord tuning, CGCGCE ?? I could be mistaken, but I know the low E, A, D and G is right.
