i wouldnt be surprised if federer missed that on purpose. hes winning outright and hes playing a dying star. may aswell give him something out of the game. i know i would have if i was federer.
@KeyMrLock I'm sure Fed gave that point away... one can only admire the sportsmanship of both contenders... this is one flick to be played to young tennis players....
@Valitatar He didnt give it away, he was just so amazed that he couldn't concentrate and started laughing. It happens, but that just shows how good of a sport he can be.
@LaDeeDaDeDaDeDa couldnt agree more! signn of a tennis player who is competing out of love of the game and not for the money! in his mid 30s he still has a hungry for victory and for the game. such a shame he hung up his racket!

Top Fastest Tennis Players 10 Roger Federer 9 Marcus Baghdatis 8 Pete Sampras 7 Fabrice Santoro 6 Gaston Gaudio 5 Andy Murray 4 James Blake 3 Lleyton Hewitt 2 Rafael Nadal 1 Bjorn Borg
Federer is definitely faster than Baghdatis, Sampras, Santoro, and Gaudio. He is so graceful and elegant with his movement that you take his speed for granted. Also, I think Murray might be further up the list. He also doesn't look as fast as he is because of his long strides. But I would almost say he's as fast or faster than Nadal.
So cool.

Santoro is fabulous - as the ball comes towards him he can slow it down with his eyes. And his touch is genius. Just shows it's not all about power.

What's interesting about Santoro is that his best results at the grand slam tournaments came during his 30's, both in singles and doubles.
Legend!
