Good morning, do you like sixties? Listen and pod cast my program " great sound of 60' s " on the site plumfm. Greeting and made blooper in rock and roll.
Salut, vous aimez les sixties ? Ecoutez et podcatez mon émission "le super son des sixties" sur plum fm. Salut et faites gaffe au rock'n roll.
it's "live at Tacoma in 1964", incredible song, imagine at this time to see this band, raw, energic, hard and punk 12 years before the punk explosion, PSYCHO SONICS, PSYCHO PUNKS!!! the best band of the sixties.
Yeah they are---sure their song got picked up for a national commercial back in 2005, but how many folks who heard the song could even tell you the name of the band, let alone the name of the song. It didn't make them instantly famous or anything. I only knew who they were only because my local college station played some of their stuff only on Friday nights, and that's about it---other than that, I've never heard any of stuff on regular radio--keep in mind they never had a major hit.
I guess it depends on who you ask, they are often listed as an influence for bands ranging from the Stooges to Nirvana, I heard Dave Grohl go on about how good the drummer was. I actually heard of them officially a few years ago in some random magazine where the guy they were interviewing just bought the record in France of all places. I had to check them out only to realize I already heard quite a few of the their songs. It's also very easy to find them on vinyl. But mainstream, not really.
This the first punk band...they didn`t bother with lyrics ether.

It's one of the most innovative bands ever! whta a shame it's now so obscure.
rockislandru 2 years ago
They're not really that obscure. "Have Love Will Travel" has been on major run TV commercials and made it into a recent movie or two.
