I agree to an extent with what you're saying and I pressed the 'like' button - but I have to say, as a muzzo myself, I like LadyGaga and Justin Beiber for the mere fact that they were 'the little man' too, before they achieved their dreams. And I think YouTube even helped them get there! But anyway, look - the new layout IS bland and impersonal and I wish they'd give the YT user more color. Thanks man.

@ZAUEH So many people try to make a name for themselves by setting up these pages, that it's not worth joining them. There should be ONE protest, not thousands. Google will never see how many people are opposed to the new layout if there are thousands of pissant little clubs out there with fewer than 100 members. Yep, the new design sucks. All the channel comments are gone, everything that made our channel our own little personalised space has been suppressed. Can't find anything anymore. I tried hard to see some redeeming features but can't.
Let's try to persuade them to change it, if they don't then let's move elsewhere.
@bsam20uk They won't change it, I know that for a fact, they don't care about their users. It's gonna be hard to build up another site from nothing because Youtube may suck but this is where all the good videos currently are. This is almost like just coming home one day to find that your room is redesigned in a way you hate and all your stuff is so rearranged you can't find it and when you do it's a complete mess.

@mellowb1rd I haven't messed with the new channel. I looked at a few people's channels and got disgusted with all of those tiny boxes. I opened one guys playlist and the video player vanished. And when I clicked on a video it took me off the channel to the original video.
And the music industry cut a deal to allow all of that music to be posted on You Tube. Besides, I already paid for 90% of it, I have the cassette tapes, video tapes, albums & CD's at home. You can't copy these vids, can ya?

I'd rather see a band uploading their stuff on their own VEVO channel than a million kids uploading it and clogging the place up. If you-tube wanted to make an improvement, I wish that they would change their comment function so that it read more intuitively and sequentially like a message board. They haven't updated it since I've been here.
This new layout isn't entirely awful, but the videos that appear on the subscription box can't be taken off after I've seen them and that really sucks!
Plus the new layout for YouTube profiles is really weird, haven't figured out how it really works, nor do I really care.
If many feel so strongly about cencorship then why not creat a situation beyond censorship and thus the people come together to fund their own system, indeed the hackers are speaking of having their own satilites so again why not? Why should we the people feel in any way sanctioned by states that only want to control every aspect of the way we choose to be as beings! The revolution starts within, what we could achieve on mass together could really be significant if you think about it!

YT channel layout 3.5. It's hard to find stuff, it's much less creative and all channels looks the same.
On the 7th of mars, ALL CHANNELS will change to the "new" channel design, and we must stop it!

Google will never see how many people are opposed to the new layout if there are thousands of pissant little clubs out there with fewer than 100 members. Problem is, everyone wants to LEAD the movement, so nobody is willing to work as one team.

I found lots of ANTI-LAYOUT groups, but I didn't found a single one that actually does what this one does, many people doesn't even know you CAN contact google.

Yep, the new design sucks. All the channel comments are gone, everything that made our channel our own little personalised space has been suppressed. Can't find anything anymore. I tried hard to see some redeeming features but can't.
Let's try to persuade them to change it, if they don't then let's move elsewhere.

It's gonna be hard to build up another site from nothing because Youtube may suck but this is where all the good videos currently are. This is almost like just coming home one day to find that your room is redesigned in a way you hate and all your stuff is so rearranged you can't find it and when you do it's a complete mess.

The only thing that will stop YouTube is if everyone stopped clicking on any advertisements, even promoted videos; don't click or buy anything that has been monetized. Delete as many accounts as possible and when CNN or any other News Agency promotes a "cute, funny,sad etc" video don't watch it. @mellowb1rd I haven't messed with the new channel. I looked at a few people's channels and got disgusted with all of those tiny boxes. I opened one guys playlist and the video player vanished. And when I clicked on a video it took me off the channel to the original video.
And the music industry cut a deal to allow all of that music to be posted on You Tube. Besides, I already paid for 90% of it, I have the cassette tapes, video tapes, albums & CD's at home. You can't copy these vids, can ya?

I'd rather see a band uploading their stuff on their own VEVO channel than a million kids uploading it and clogging the place up. The problem is the way Youtube pushes VEVO shit to the top of every search and exempts them from rules the rest of us are forced to follow. Youtube was created for people to share VIDEOS.
