  • What? the silverado is not more costly than the f150

  • the ford has a .1 liter bigger engine and it gets worse mpg and less power how does that fuckin work, CHEVY ALL THE WAY

  • It gets nearly the same mpg and has far more torquw, wich is used for pulling. And unless your a pussy chevy guy who never uses his truck for work, thats what you want in a truck. torque. FORD ALL THE WAY

  • wow buddy shows u know jack shit i use my chevy for a lot more work than my buddies ford and it has never had one problem, he used it for pulling his boat and his transmission shit after 60000 and then his tie rods broke , i use mine for pulling boat, farmwork, going to the woods through plowed cornfields, and going through snow drifts and it has never had a problem, so if u want a real work truck chevy is a shit ton better than ford

  • anecdotal evidence carrys no merit. Facts are facts, the 5.4 makes more pullng power than the 5.3. And good for you, you use your truck like it should be. Sucks to be your buddy. I use my ford for some of the same shit you do. 130,000 and ive yet to have a problem with anything as well. Like I said, storys mean nothing as everyone has them, good and bad, about every brand. Im stating fact, Ford (motor for motor) can pull more than chevys.

  • @fishinfreak11 great so your buddies are the kind of guys that own trucks just to have a truck my 97 ford has 257 thousand and change on it and its had ball joints done. its been in and out of fields. its pulled various car haulers with various cars. its pulled boats campers cars trucks several farm trailers. its what i bought it for. it pulls well over 9000 regularly. im not saying you cant pull with your chevy but its not better than my ford.

  • Your talking about HP, wich is not important in a truck. Torque is. ANd the 5.4 makes alot more. hell a 97 5.4 made 350 ft lbs at 2500 rpms. An 09 chevy with a 5.3 only makes 338 and does it at 4500 rpm. High rpm torque peak is not as good as low rpm peak when it comes to pulling. Argue against that.
