The Map is not moving because this was the way UK Gold did the Eastenders credits.

I remember I seen a 1986 or 1987 episode on UK Gold and 1997 and the map was moving.

Yep the map didnt move from the repeats of 1985-1992 and then they used the BBC Credits then.

Aye cos they showed it differently from the original airing they'd have to make new end credits.
