  • 5:15 Fear the swordwind!

  • See don't you just hate Necrons and how they come back? It is almost like it is an army made for people who suck at the game and can't win any other way. But I have seen some Necron players that actually use strategy when playing. The wave serpents also kind of had a fail of an engagement with those destroyers.

  • @FirewarriorStudios Necrons coming back to life are just another tactical consideration, like Power armour or ludicrous-speed Eldar. Realistically, if you play to the Necrons' inherent weakness (crap CQ), they won't get their protocol rolls at all. As for strategy, Necrons need strategy more than most armies, simply because they are highly inflexible with almost all of their units.

  • i dont understand the game how do they choose how far the move and such like ive played dawn of war but i dont get this

  • @jediknight7898 destroyers are assault 3 not heavy

  • those serpents are played so stupid :D

  • wow very expensive eldar list... i think vypers r best with either

shuriken canon and the catapult (cheap version)

or u play rocket launcher and shuriken canon also a very versatile option...

  • too bad eldar play in every BoLS very bad i would make more damage without the two Vypers

  • destroyers can't move and shoot. they're heavy 3.........

  • @jediknight7898 they are jetbikes :S

  • elder should have parked the wave serpent in front of the monolith first turn instead of next to it , it prevents teleport trickory

  • I have 2 questions. How powerful would a 1850 point necron army be made up of normal necron lords, immortals, and warriors? I was thinking about a "march of the dead" type army for that. also is the we'll be back roll named after the terminator, which the necron warriors seem to be based on?

  • @TheLogicisking that would be the most retarded thing ever and you would lose if you made it warrior heavy, and would phase out if you made it immortal heavy, and everything in between=YOU LOSE. Either run a wraith based list (2 squads of warriors, max out your wraiths, get some lords), a destroyer list (destroyer heavy, you get thedrift), or a c'tan based list (you should get how this works)

  • Is this 2000 points?

  • what weapon did the destroyer lord have? If itwas the staff of light it is more suited to a foot lord. always take a warsyth on a destroyer lord no armor saves and an extra d6 for armor penetration

  • seriously deciever over nightbringer?! pah.... nightbringer ownz all

  • @360andmerule Deceiver has far superior abilities and is cheaper than the Nightbringer. Nightbringer is good, but his cost is way bad for what you get.

  • @360andmerule Nightsbringer for the win w00000t

  • You don't get we'll be back in cc against power weapons. I may be wrong, but that's how I remember it.

  • @HarrytheHammer28 yes you don't get,and bay the way were those Destroyers a whole squad, beacuse when you were showing your army they where diffrent squads of 4 Destroyers........

  • nice video mate. The destroyers would of came back even if you killed them all because the tomb spyder is withing 12 inch of them ;p

  • i dont know or this is real old but why dont you have warp spiders?

  • Necrons : C'tan + Monolith+shitton of destroyer...

How the hell couldn't the eldar Phase Out the lolCrons ?

  • did eldrad fortune the waveserpents in round 1 before he embarked, cause I was told that farseers could not use powers on things outside of their vehicles even though the buffs don't require LoS. Or can farseers in fact use powers when they are in trasports

  • @The2ndSamurai Farseers can always use powers even when they're inside transports, but powers that require line of sight will fail since they can't actually see. This means you can fortune/doom things even when your Farseer is inside his transport.

  • Eldar was too agressive however and when they retreated they brought them right in and then wiped out the wave serpants and from then on the game was basically over.

  • I think the necron deployement wasn't as strong as eldar. I also liked the eldar strategy of having all their units attacking 1 squad until they're all dead then moving on.

  • fun necron list. so many destroyers =S

  • Necrons where good but Eldar bad.

  • And please play better armies! :D

  • But the Eldar also, so the necrons had luck and could win in the end.

  • Necrons were played badly... that made the game kinda boring, sadly the badest battlerep f yours guys. :(

  • Wait... where is the Eldar HQ?

  • Eldrad Ulthran in the wave serpent

  • I'm pretty sure the tomb spyder is to account for that.

  • That distance would be 6"

  • how many points? like 2,500?

  • I thought a WBB only worked if the fallen model is within 6 inches of a fallen of the same type. It like some of those destroyers were beyond that 6 inches. Those were some amazing LD rolls after the close combat.

  • Not a bad game! Looked like it went both ways at first.. amazing WBB rolls, Bushido.

One thing--I almost ended up in a situation on the weekend where my exits were almost completely blocked on my rhino when it was wrecked, and I would have lost the 9 possessed inside. Now it's a bit more reasonable with regards to blocking exits, but with your destroyer squads you could have blocked the exits and tried to wreck the serpents, icing the squads inside for free..

Why didn't you? Or did you try..?

  • Honestly, I didn't think about it. :)

  • eldar should not have thrown his forces forward like that! use them to counter attack and wipe necrons off objectives. And if you are going to camp guardians on objectives in your deployment zone, use defenders so they can actually shoot something!

  • Nice Job guys

Sad though, that the Necron guy used such a crappy list.....

  • This is the best list available for Necrons at the moment.

  • Not to nit-pick, but every video you guys do in which someone plays Eldar, the Eldar player plays OVERLY aggressive and makes some huge tactical mistakes. Did the Eldar player forget that forcing the Necrons into a corner helps to keep everyone in range of Res-Orbs and Tombspiders...... You would have been better off targeting the Spiders and letting him spread his forces out. Attacking his ENTIRE army with 3 Waveserpents was just asking for a facefull of Gauss......

  • Nice! Fun to watch, cool to see some vypers and jetbikes in action.

  • Kudos on a great batrep. The camera work was much better in this one - got a very good sense of where everything was and the battlefield overall. I liked the commentary at the end with the two generals. This is the way the batreps should be done in the future.

  • I agree. One can actually follow the battle well enough.

  • Tough break for the Elfdar.

  • L2 eldar....

  • eldar was sooo aggressivee!!! wave serpants shouldnt have gone up so close and allowed the necrons to shoot the rear armor :/.. the best the army can do is glance the front/side!!!
