Skills. That's so true in GW. For example. Once, One my lvl 20 ele, I don't suck or anything, but there was a much better person, he was level 10. He was a mesmer/Necro. KICKED MY ASS! So its all skill in GW, not saying WOW isn't GW is more skill oriented xD

Also, WoW is more oriented towards PvE and GW more towards PvP. WoW, therfore, is more equipment based and GW is based on your build, or the skills you carry on your 8-slot bar.

the reason why guild wars drew me in was the fact that everyone has 8 skills, the interface is not cluttered like WoW can be. Also the fact that you have so many skills to choose from between the two classes you choose makes for some very interesting pvp in random arenas along with team arenas. Guild and Heroes accent see more of the same builds due to what is popular in the meta game. Overall pvp in this game is really good and balanced.

thats why in WoW everyone has the same build, example: when ur a mage, the only difference between u and another mage is how u set up ur talent tree, in GW u have only 8 skills, but this forces you to make your own skill set-ups, and so u allmost never encounter someone who fights the same way as you do.
