  • You think Robin Ford uses D"Addario 10's in flat or wound?

  • Great tone! What wood combinations is your Carvin Fatboy? I'm considering buying one. I like a flat fingerboard, but I like the back of the neck to be pretty thick. How is the neck on yours?

  • Wow I thought I was listening to Robben Ford himself. Very nice.

    Mike

  • Really superb bluesy style and authentic dumble tone. Shame it's mad money for most working guitarists.

  • Is this model still available?

Is the stop tailpiece made of aluminum?

  • What is the scale you start the second chorus with....diminished or something? Sounds really nice. I'd love to know what it is.

  • I like your playing style a lot

  • Great playing sir. Righteous tone too. I've known about the Carvin Fatboy for a while, but the combination of that guitar with that pedal is very intriguing...

  • Great tone!

  • FANTASTIC JOB AS PER USUAL MAESTRO!!

Please let us know what kind of Lollar Humbuckers those are.

Is the Blues Junior stock? If so WOW!!!!

  • Did you sell it yet ?

  • You bastard, why would you change the completely perfect holdsworth pickups?

  • @WoWintosh

    Because they suck maybe?

  • Great sound! I own a ETHOS, looking for THAT sound! Can't find it yet. What amp are you using here? What type of Lindy Fralin's are you using?

  • Great sound !

  • man thats such a great smooth sound

  • i recognize rick rossano's background playing anywhere!!

  • hey man great playing. can you describe what you were thinking from 1:22-1:30

im especially interested at 1:27 where the chord changes you seem to superimpose something but it sounds very exciting and interesting.

  • @diminishedlogic Triadic superimposition for the most part (C, F, Eb Bb) along with "companion minor" Dmin7) and then a little Ab min/maj 7 right at the end. Or something like that. Hope that helps

  • thats pretty rich. Well thanks for responding. I'll try to wrap my blues playing head around that and just transcribe it.

  • hey pretty cool Tim. Some really 335-esque tones there. Would love to score one of these Holdsworth guitars one day.

  • @Bill2Palmer I might be willing to part with this one if you are interested.

  • @telebasher How much are you looking for?

  • @Botdra shoot me a message and we can talk about it. thanks,

  • such a nice sound how do you find the fatboy sounds compares to traditional solid body humbucker guitar ?

  • which Fralins. I have a h2t and as much as folks rave about the pickups, they don't do it for me. Got any clean sounds?
