Even if Chael suffers from hypogonadism, he absolutely abused the synthetic testosterone he was injecting. He must have been shooting a lot of steroids to have a T/E ratio almost 17 times the normal male especially if he had low testosterone to begin with.

@mbauer08 actually i have a friend who's on TRT, he's only 20 and he's just a regular guy, not super built but not scrawny either. he's not an athlete or anything and he's definitely not on steroids so i think that cancels that argument. It's a medical condition, i guess steroid abuse can cause it but it's a medical condition first and foremost.

@DonStirFrye TRT is used to treat a medical condition called hypogonadism, the body doesn't produce enough testosterone so testosterone must be administered through other means. I realise that testosterone is a steroid. if your body doesn't produce testosterone are you supposed to not undergo TRT?

@DonStirFrye oh you either misunderstood or i wasn't clear enough, i was saying that my friends body doesn't produce enough testosterone and it isn't due to steroid abuse. it's just naturally that way, so now he must take testosterone (a steroid) to be normal. the person before me said that people have low testosterone because they previously abused steroids and i was saying that isn't the case. i'll comment on whatever i want.

You also specifically stated that your friend is "definitely not on steroids" when you just stated that he was using steroids through the TRT process. The person who commented that it's common for steroid abusers to have low testosterone is absolutely right. That might not be the case with Chael but it doesn't make it any less of a fact.

I meant that my friend was not on steroids before undergoing TRT so that is not the cause of their low testosterone. Someone said that Chael was on steroids and you specifically said that he "didn't take steroids" and that he had only had "slighty [sic] high testosterone" when his T/E ratio was 16.9:1 which is over 4 times the allowed threshold. The average male has a T/E ratio of 1:1 so try and do the math.

@Marz2605 Here are the CSAC documents from his drug test for the Silva fight: watchkalibrun.(com)/2010/12/1/1840613/looking-at-csac-released-documents-ufc-fighter-chael-sonnen-steroid. Once again, he had a T/E ratio of 16.9:1 which is over 4 times the allowed threshold and almost 17 times the normal male which is 1:1. Isn't it a little shady that someone who claims to have low testosterone injects enough steroids to have a T/E ratio that high? If it isn't shady then it's definitely cheating.

Even the direct executive of the NSAS/CSAC named Keith Kizer confronted this matter & said he never spoke to nor granted Chael approval for TRT of any kind. So guess what? Chael lied about that & his synthetic testosterone injections are "anabolic steroids." So that's obviously a type of steroid. Know your facts.

Or how about the other fact that he pled guilty to money laundering crimes in connection to mortgage fraud?
