  • why would you put a two thousand dollar carb conversion efi system on a basically stock engine in a basically stock truck that originally came with efi ?? lol that truck probly runs no better or worse than it did from factory , im not trying to hate cuz i love the system but why not put it in a 67 chevy pick up ? or 71 dodge challneger , 69 camaro .. 67 fastback mustang ? lol but you put a 2000 dollar efi on a stock motor in a stock truck that came with efi.... fail

  • I have a 96 k1500 with a 350 ho put in it.. its not running tuned! I as told I need to mail in the computer to re-flash for 450 bucks. should I just go that way? or ez tune?

  • hey man check out the Megasquirt engine management system (ecu) its cheap and can support any kind of EFI, TBI, TPI, and SFI soon, but its a lot cheaper and its alot more DIY, and can get you more performance and mileage then TBI systems.

  • hey bro great up grade probly took a chunk of change, also what kind of tranny do u got, probly the 4l80e or is it a 700r4 thats what i got in my silverado, it took alot to build that tranny up but its holdin up to my 388, i got it dyno'd at 652 hp and 732 tq im currently on deployment right now and when i get back ill post some new vids for ya well keep up the good truck bro

  • no not a l31 but the ez efi is great on any motor

  • Good looking truck by the way! but i got a question....is your motor the L31 vortec becasue i have that motor and i want to put in bigger injectors but with that manifold u can only use the stock ones. now that i have found this FAST EFI stuff i was just wondering if it was compatible wiht the L31 motor

  • u might want to check to see if its a Ls1 ive never heard of the l31 so check that out also this guys engine is a well kinda a vortec 383 which was the vortec 350 just bored .030 over and added the 400 crank, the rods are a little different too, u have to get a shorter piston and the rod is 5.7 inches and the manifold would be a way better upgrade helps with flow and alow better top end power, and cooling,
