  • According to Weston Price, what is his explanation of what causes bad breath?

  • Thanks for the info. It's very helpful and I agree with you very much.

  • Hi Roni. I wonder what you think about xylitol. It's believed to have some properties in curing cavities and strenghtening teeth. Have you ever tried it out? best regards!

  • do you floss? is it necessary according to dr Price?

  • I have a question. I have alot of cavities and 2 root canals

If i drink water eat good no sugars and stuff will my teeth get better?

I just need help.. i cant seem to take care of my teeth i dont have a motivation if you can just help..

so from now on im drinking water/no sugars/and eating nothing bad (fast food etc)

  • I have such a problem! my teeth look terrible especially after I got braces. but I'm vegetarian, what foods could I eat that would provide the same nutrients as the animal organs?

  • @alovelornangel in one portion of food: 1 third beans + 2 thirds of grains. Beans: lentils, sun flower seeds, alfafa beans, flax seeds, quinoa, lots and lots more. Grains: millet, buckwheat, wheat or kamut (if you are not allergic to gluten), etc. Obviously all these above must be all organic in order to contain the basic nutrients needed.

  • wow thanks for this, I've learned so much!!

  • Fascinating!

I'll look further into this - but this just rings true... without giving you my life tooth history.

  • What about if you took a daily multivitamin + fish oil + flax seed oil + extra calcium pill?

  • @guest2424: If you take calcium make sure it is chewable and it must have a 2:1 magnesium ca+ ratio. If you wantt to do it natural 2 cups of collard green to 1/4 cup of almonds.

  • Hi! Thanks for this info. I know kale and other greens is really rich in vitamin K. Is the vitamin in butter better than the vegetable version? I am very allergic to milk so i can't eat it. Thanks!

  • "... and drink blood"

    LOL

  • Although I have never had problems with tooth decay and paid a visit to a dentist. Still I am really taken aback with your results. Evidence you have gathered is astonishing!

Congratulations to the best dad ever!!!!

  • Although i have never had problems with tooth decay and I have never paid a visit to a dentist. Still I am really taken aback with your results. You have gathered strong evidence you are right!

Congratulations to the best dad ever!

  • I have perfect teeth on the outside but in the inside of some the doctors say are rotten and they gotten that way due to a lack of non flossing so what do I do about that ? How can I prevent it from decaying more when its inbetween my teeth ?

  • Wheat bread, as well as other grains, also have a negative effect on teeth. Look up phytic acid and tooth decay.

  • What about the Mercury found in Salmon ?\

  • The benefits surpass the drawbacks by far.

  • i just found out that stem cell researchers found way to regrow teeth, pretty cool? look it up

  • Yes, it will only cost $30,000 per tooth. What a deal.

I do think that there should be some better organic filling materials in the near future. Regrowing teeth probably will take a long time, and you'll still need a good diet.

  • @yourreturn Stem Cell is actually just a patentable form of the actually used Live Cell Therapy, it works just like Stem Cells except its been in use for many many many years, and its created from sheep embryos instead of human embryos, and o yes of course only of these is patentable, can we guess which of the two the crooked FDA & Drug Companies want us to know about!

Live Cell Therapy, could be given and rebuild entire organs its already in use, especially amongst royalty.

  • @yourreturn My tooth filler fell out and the hole in my tooth is practically non existent is this normal.

  • awesome and i thought my life was over... now i have a reason to live and save up so much lol

sad story im a 19 year old with lots of dental problem and 3 crowns... sad =(

  • Sorry for spamming so much I just have a question, last question I promise. I know I probably got on your nerves by now. I mention before that I have 3 crowns on my teeth. Those teeth didn't receive root canals because I decided not to. Is there any way for my natural crowns to be restored or grow back? and for the fillings I have in all my teeth too?

  • Hi,

    No.

But people have crowned teeth fail all the time. So, if your diet is excellent, you can maintain the crowns, rather than having the tooth removed or root canaled.

  • Oh also I recall eating this Mexican chili candy powder called Lucas. Which went out of business because their candy products contain a certain amount of led. I remember as a child eating that chili powder candy so much. Then nowadays I notice it affected my teeth in the long term.

I wish for my teeth to be restore back to normal. Hopefully your vid helps my teeth.

  • will you please do a shorter video about what actions should be taken to fix this issue 3 ten minute videos are becoming a blur

  • The message should resonate, if it was not for the media and corporate med based maligning saturated fats, which are strongly linked to those fat soluble vitamins and activators. Seriously, which med org, news issue promotes consuming fish liver, raw butter or milk?

  • Thank you for all of your research and hard work

  • Comment removed

  • this is soo true@! I started working at a fish store a year ago and before i had really weak teeth, they hurt from cold or hot things and such. i started eating immense amounts of fish now my teeth are strong and no longer sensitive!

  • also another good read is Kevin Treudu's natural cures he talks about the food and drug administation and how they want to treat us with medice instead of curing us with health foods without harsh chemicals

  • Great videos Rami, our field is lacking in this kind of communication. Key point in biochemistry missing is that tooth enamel is built as a one-time only event & never gets rebuilt. Ph balance intraorally is a factor, and there is a MAJOR difference between topical fluorides and injested fluorides. The main point is that in my opinion diet is the major factor to preventing decay, but only to about age 9, when enamel structures of hydroxyapatite are completed for the adult dentition. Keep it up!

  • I understand. People can still make their tooth cavities hard, such that the decay stops, and for many people they can avoid fillings, or escape root canals as the pain and swelling disappear because the tooth heals itself. Whether the healed tooth has enamel, or just very hard dentine (middle tooth layer) seems like a secondary point.

  • so just kill animals and eat their livers?

    should i cook them?

or are there other ways to get these vitamins?

whole milk, certain meats you can buy?

or do i need to hunt wild animals?

  • a good friend of mine had a problem with part of his gums. i think they were kind of wasting away and becoming rotten. he found the more he stressed and fussed over it the worse it got. then one day he got so fed up he decided to leave it be and just care for his teeth as normal. eventually the gums healed. he asked his dentist if gums could heal like this and he said no way. he never told him about his gums. just goes to show the power the mind has over our bodily health and well being.

  • I'm so glad I came upon this video. I am wondering if a multi-vitamin would make up for the deficiencies (i.e.- animal organs, etc) that we have in our modern diet. I imagine that there are other benefits to eating such things (other than the fat-soluble vitamins) but I couldn't bring myself to eat the foods that you talked about on the video clip. If vitamin supplements aren't adequate what do you propose would be a good substitute?

I'm going to look for that book!

    Regards, Stephanie

  • I have tried many different health diets and supplements (including raw vegan) and they are okay but for truly healthy teeth and gums you can't get around the fat-soluble vitamins from animal products like raw milk and liver. If you don't want to eat those things then you will have to add a few visits to the dentist into your budget.

  • Tell me about the temporary filling. What is it made of ? How long does it last? How is it inserted/removed?

  • What is the temporary filling made of and how does it work? Does it come out at some point? Do dentists still use this method? Please tell me about this.

  • What are some raw, vegan sources for fat soluble vitamins?

  • Wheat Germ oil, other grains that are fresh ground.

maybe spirulina and blue green algae,

problem is that there is not a good selection of fat-soluble vitamins from vegan sources

  • Well the fat soluble vitamins are: A,E,D, and K.

Vitamin A-CARROTS one of the richest sources of vitamin A. High in the other vitamins, especially B complex. Minerals include calcium, copper, magnesium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus, chlorine, sulfur, and iron. Carrots also contain Vitamin E. Other Vitamin E sources are Vegetable oils, nuts, green leafy vegetables. Wheat germ oil is the highest. Vitamin K- leafy greens. Vitamin D-Sun

  • Fat-soluble vitamins are not primarily from vegetable sources and may be difficult to impossible to obtain on a vegan diet.

  • As one example, plants provide beta-carotene, not Vitamin A. It must be converted, poorly, in our bodies to A. Direct A sources are grassfed animal products like milk, butter, certain organ meats, & unrefined cod liver oil.

Another example: most of us don't get anywhere close to the amount of sun exposure our bodies are made for. Google "Lack of vitamin D rampant" for a look.

Price's research found that native (unprocessed) diets gave 10 times the A & D of what most folks eat.

  • That pic of the islander looked like Danny Glover:)

  • Hey alot of those photos I haven't seen in Price's book (like the smiling Alaskan, the African Women with beeds in her ears and a baby), are they from a different publiction?

  • Hey have you read any books which question Louise Pasteur's Germ Theory? They will complement Price's work and offer a sound explanation (imo) as to why the swiss, and other natives on their native diets, did not come down with turbuculosis. If you google Bechamp Pastuer Germ Theory you should come across a few of those books online for free.

  • i definitely want to try this.

    but, as for toothpaste...

    what do reccomend to do?

use certain store bought ones, natural toothpaste ... ?

  • I just found out about stem cell to grow new teeth and than I went into a dentist and asked about it and they told me there is no such thing. Google Stem cell Grow teeth and you can see what I'm saying is the truth. Are those dentist trying to lie to us so they can make more money. WTF why won't government or any orginzation fund these stem cell researches?

  • Hi,

It seems like the technology exists to grow new teeth in test tubes or even in your mouth. Hopefully it will be more widely available one day.

  • But these dentist either are too dumb to research on it or they want to hide these kind of technology from us so they can keep making more money as every years we have to keep going back to them. you should start a movement and Boy Cott the Dentist. lolz We need Stem CELL. By the way, does eating butter really make the teeth heal itself?

  • as someone involved in both the dental and molecular biology fields I can tell you that this sort of research is very slow work and stem cells that are not embryonic are a very poor working medium. To engineer a fully formed organ with proper working physiology and anatomy is like animal bonsai, can you imagine trying to MAKE your arm into a different shape?

  • but we will have new theeth in the future from stem cels hell will be able to build any part of our body with stem cels. a hand a nose a finger a leg or an eye. just imagin all the blind and people who cant walk will be able to walk not long from now maybe 20 years

  • how come kids have braces is it the diet?

  • YEs, that is correct!

  • Great job! I love your videos and your site. Question: Is it ok to eat pasta (from durum semolina) or should it be avioded also?

  • Avoided unless grains are first fresh ground and then fermented like sourdough to enhance digestion and remove phytates.

  • How come dead people don't get tooth decay? (At least I think they don't).

I mean, their nutrient consumption is practically zero.

  • Hi, when people are dying they may get tooth decay, I don't know. I would be interested in finding out.

This is a very good question. Bacteria also don't eat teeth, nor does their acid dissolve them as you can see if you look at skulls. My theory is that we have cells that actually break down and absorb tooth. I don't know for certain though.

  • Let's say you had pits and groves in your teeth, before hitting the cavity point or tooth decay point, is it possible after pits and groves are there, is it irreversible to revitalize your teeth from the pits and groves within the teeth meaning can it heal and revitalize itself after a certain point, because I have 4 of those in my mouth and my teeth feel like there healing from them every night and it's getting smaller, that might mean pits and groves are irreversible.

  • Yes this is possible. If you have a small hole from a cavity, this hole might not fill in as if it was never there, however the hole can become hard and glassy, so that the tooth is protected from further decay or pain. It may for some people fill in. The goal is to remineralize those soft spots.

  • pits and grooves are natural parts of tooth anatomy during their formation (genetic). They are starting points for active caries (bacteria) to hide and demineralize the tooth structure because it may be hard for you to clean those areas (compared to the smooth surfaces of your teeth).

  • I'm wondering how to heal pits and groves within the tooth before getting dental sealants or when having them, because I'm thinking "hey tooth decay is healing why not pits and groves". I think maybe pits and groves do heal, the tooth heals it's self, which is possible, maybe eating fruit can help restore pits and groves, because if this is possible pits and groves should be able to heal.

  • Fruits will not likely affect the teeth in a positive way, but a diet rich in calcium and hard ions like Fl can. Avoiding foods which feed the bacteria in your mouth will be the most significant.

  • Mine our I think, because they got blood in them therefore helping the tooth grow, could you make a video about groves and fissures revitilization, how to restore your teeth from minerals, I got no cavity yet but i'm thinking there's a way to restore this.

  • em, a tooth doesn't decay after death as there is no life in the oral environment. The bacteria responsibe for plaque and eevtually tooth decay cannot exist without this environment, hence, no decay.

  • Demineralized tooth enamel is reversible. 'Cavities' are a structural breakdown of the tooth due to decay past the dentin-enamel junction. A cavity is irreversible. Many dentists mistake incipient (reversible) decay for cavities & do unnecessary treatment to 'restore' the area. Preventative Resin restorations can 'seal' the grooves to stop incipient decay with no damage to the tooth surface. Good diet will help remineralize teeth as well as topical flouride.

  • right on!

  • Hi, I wrote a great book so you can practice these principles at home, "Cure Tooth Decay: Heal and Prevent Cavities With Nutrition" available at curetoothdecay com

  • Ramiel, You (along with Weston Prrice) saved my teeth. Was supposed to get a root canal (which I had no money to aford). Tooth was in pain. After three weeks on the diet I can feel a big difference, tooth doesn't hurt now and feels like its healing. Thanks so much. Unbelievable!

  • Great vid. I had a friend with terrible teeth - she had cavities on the surface of her front teeth. We started a 'macrobiotic' (lots of vegetables, seaweed and brown rice) diet, and some time later, she smiled at me and I remember being shocked as her teeth were solid natural white. It was then that I realized that teeth have the ability to heal.

  • I wonder how non-human primates avoid caries without eating meat and dairy foods. Evolutionary biology suggests that's a good place to look for a diet similar to that which we might best eat, rather than those in places where culture has modified dietary norms.

  • Which non-human primates? There are many different kinds of primates who eat differently from each other and have different physiologies to accommodate what they eat. Gorillas have huge stomachs to help them digest the vast quantities of cellulose they eat--something we could never do. Chimps, on the other hand, are omnivores who eat many animal foods, including other primates! Our genetics (over 99%) are the most similar to chimps than to any other primate. So your argument is a very poor one.

  • Plant matter can be high in Calcium. And the non-human primate digestive system is different that ours. Plus, why ignore the evidence that shows how many groups of people, on a native diet that includes animal foods, had an immunity to tooth decay.
