  • this was the best show i think i have ever been in, i played little inez!!!! the cast was just soo amazing!!! i didnt want it to end!!! i was just an amazing experiance!!!

  • I don't get how they did Welcome to the 60's, and did they have sets??? Like the buildings and all that???

How did they do the mom transformation if he had no where to exit to do a quick change???

  • the mom had 7 places to exit and do a quick change there are 6 ailes that run off the stage and curtians and rooms that they do quick changes!!!

  • Oh, that's cool, but how did they do the sets???

  • they would either fly in like strre lights or signs or tops of buildings from the celing, or they would bring them up from the vom. we also had a a hole in center stage that would bring up big pieces like furniture

  • Either way, it was probably a challenge and you dudes pulled it off!!!

  • I just saw Bridie Carroll tonight in Portland Oregon in "Grease"! I really didn't love the play, but Bridie was AMAZING as "Jan"!

  • I LOVE DEB LYONS!!

  • Were did they get the costumes from?

    They are the real thing

  • Well they have the real costumes because this was a real production... almost like the London company has the same costumes, too

  • @Hairspray4568 The costumes they used are from the Vegas production.

  • i really wanna see it in theatre

  • you guys rock u guys r the best keep on rolling i will come and see a show every sesson

  • NSMT is a true theater-in-the-round, some of the sets appear via lifts from the center of teh stage, others rise from a vomitorium, or fly in depending on the configuration of the set and the needs of the show. It's always a treat to see how they take a show designed for a proscenium stage and configure it for "in the round". Creative, wonderful and amazing. I definitely recommend it.

  • I just saw Paul Vogt opening night at California Music Circus in Sacramento. He was hilarious!

  • Yeah. I saw him on Broadway. He is hysterical!

  • I am in LOVE with Franklyn Warfield. Best. Actor. EVER.

  • wow the costumes arte just like the Broadway ones!

  • amazing

  • I SAW THIS CAST!!! THEY ALL ROCKED!!! its a shame there are no penny clips on this, I remember her being AMAZING

  • Tracy is my cousin=]]

  • ARE YOU SERIOUS! THATS AWESOME!

  • You want to hire me to be your exclusive spokesgirl and fashion effigy?!

    Edna:oh oh oh!

    Tracy: Whats an effigy?

    Edna:I have no idea?

    lmao. Paul rocks this role.

    I saw him on broadway!!!

  • omg i saw this cast! they rocked!!!

  • Hey, are there seats all around? That's what it seems like from the video. I saw Hairspray on tour, Broadway, seeing it on tour again, and hopefully Broadway again. I love Hairspray! :)

  • Yep. It's a theatre-in-the-round.

  • this was a funny play. i saw this last november and it was the last showing of hairspray. then added in a few scenes..it was hilarious. im going to the NSMT tomorow for a school feildtrip to see les miserables

  • I love the guy who plays tracys mom...he's from MADTV...hes the best!

  • I miss Paul on Mad TV. His drag characters (and his non-drag ones for that matter) were always HILARIOUS.

  • I saw this show at NSMT, and I LOVED IT! Paul was better than Harvey. I have third row seats for Les Miz in 2 weeks.

  • haha im going to see that play tomorow ofor a school feild trip

  • I LOVE PAUL (Like everyone else who has commented.) He's excellent!!!!

  • dam that was hella good

  • I do not like the coragropahy (or however you spell it) but I love the rest of it, and Paul's acting haha =]

  • yea., John T. took it to a weird level. he was just creepy

  • Yeah paul is amazing, I got his autograph just the other day after the show

  • Oh man, I loveloveloveloveloveLOVE Paul as Edna. He is hilarious (unlike John T) and can actually sing well (unlike Harvey). He also reminded me a lot of my Calculus teacher, which brought an extra level of joy to the show for me when I saw it on Bway.

  • i live right near north shore

  • pauls on broadway again he rulz

  • Paul was great he did the follow up to Harvy in the Vegas cast, I agree Paul was one of the best I've ever seen! Hated to see the show leave Vegas...what a loss for this town. Bet ya the Luxor is kickin themselves in the ass now with the remake and hit movie now showing!

  • looks great i love Paul Vogt! hes so funny!

  • wow the costumes are amazing...just like the broadway ones! THAT's CRAZY!

  • it was awesome at the NSMT

i tried out for Tracy but diddnt made it

    top 10 though!

i still <3 this my fav musical

  • Oh man, this clip hardly shows the girl who played Penny Pringleton. She was EASILY the best Penny I have EVER seen, better than any Penny I've seen do it on Broadway including the original girl, and MUCH MUCH better than the girl in the new film version. She rocked.

  • I saw Paul in NYC and I went on a charity night so I met him afterwards! He is HILARIOUS!!!

  • omgggg paul hosted my sisters dance concert and hes hilarious!!!!!! luv him

  • Oh god, I saw Paul as Edna in NYC just a short time ago, he's amazingly funny, one of the best Edna's i've seen, but in this clip he seems to have made the part even more himself. On broadway he still strictly followed Edna. but this clip he's so funny. I love this part..

"you want me to be yur spokesperson and effigy?"

    "oh oh oh"

    "what an effigy"

    "i dunno know ohh"

    hahahah<3

  • The guy playing Corny Collins was really good.

  • looking good paul all the best bob machray

  • MAMA IM A BIG GIRL NOW IS THE BEST!!

  • Did Paul Vogt appear in Hannah Montana on Disney Channel?

  • please post Welcome to the 60's or Big Dollhouse, or Timeless to Me or something!

  • Unfortunatly the 3 minutes here are all we are allowed to present legally. This is an Actor's Equity union rule. The good news is that the clips here do include parts of Welcome To The 60's and Timeless To Me.

  • Who plays Tracy?

  • Bridie Carroll

  • @NSMT

I saw her in Grease =)

  • is this show theater in the round???

  • Yes NSMT is in-the-round.

  • this was a fantastic show i think i saw it on opening night! do you happen to have longer clips of any of the show? i'm using some of the music for one of my dance classes and would like to show them a professional version of it.

  • I saw this! Paul Vogt was awesome as Edna!

  • Wow! That must've been fun to work on! I wish I could've seen it! I do have a question though...May I ask where you got the costumes?

  • It was the Vegas Costume Package.

  • I wish Paul Vogt would be in the movie musical instead of John Travolta.(Fact is stranger than fiction.)I'm not kidding. :(

  • I know, saw him on broadway and he has to be the best edna ever!

  • wow i wish they did these when i was in joseph and wizard there

  • where is this theater at?

  • Beverly, MA

  • is this from the tour or something?

  • No, it is the first regional theatre production.
