  • Yes it is a Pollyanna thing to do to count your blessings. But what is the alternative...curse God? We are all tested at some point in our lives like Job in the Bible. He chose to praise God in spite of his very difficult circumstances & when things turned around he praised God as well. My health is suffering now due to gluten intolerance & extreme joint pain & swelling but I'm slowly getting better. Praise God even when your tested...when you leave this life you take only your character & LOVE!

  • If you're having trouble going to sleep...try counting your blessings instead of sheep. I love White Christmas!

  • I have to sing this in choir class (:

    Love this song ♥

  • A beautiful song that contains heartfelt lyrics with a simple melody. Could also be the definition of any Berlin song. I have recently become disabled & this song can make me quite emotional. Add Mr. Crosby to the mix and this video evokes the true spirit of Christmas that crosses all religious boundaries!

Another version of this song that is a must hear, is the solo piano version by Dave McKenna from his Christmas album. Neither phony or insincere, even without words the message rings true.

  • Dear One person that disliked this, Crawl in a hole and die.

    Thank you.

  • I adore Bing Crosby. He's wonderful

  • Oh no. It's Salesman Bob at his most evil!

  • The one and only Der Bingle,Bing Crosby.

  • More Americans should do this instead of complaining about what their neighbor has instead of them.

  • This doesn't sound quite like Bing to me. Surprisingly close, but something isn't right.

  • A reassuring classic from the age of decorum and decency...

  • i think this is a good thing to hear.we all moan and groan about the things we don"thave and forget the good things we do have in our lives.blessings are hard to come by and so easy to pass along.in this busy get everything world its something we tend to forget.

  • this is a super old song but a great one

  • Whenever things are looking down, this song reminds me to thank God for all I do have. :)

  • Counting your blessings just might be the way to truth in the world of today it is popular to be bitter and envious by show contempt for the material things we desire that others have that is A empty promise that will lead you to nothing. if you have your health family and your memories these are the greatest gifts.

    God Bless

  • loveLOVElove.

  • Amen

  • I sing this song to myself to remind me that I have been through some very tough times. This may not be the greatest time in my life, but it certainly is not the worst! I am blessed!

  • @meggiemeown

This Christmas isn't really going to be right this year due to my Bank Account being small (As well as my family's). :(

  • @Yourmomisnthere im sure you have more than most people in the world just by having access to a computer. think about it. the majority of the world doesn't even have heat or electricity. get over yourself. you have clothes on your back and food on your plate. and if you dont have that, sell your computer.

  • @rileyka3

I'm only saying that 10% of America SHOULD Count their Blessings, as well as the employed! The last 2 years, many people's banks have been small...they SHOULD think of the days when they couldn't even get an account!

This is a good song, okay!

  • @rileyka3 Calm down. No need to get to offensive.

  • @rileyka3 Most people in the world can't even see stars because of light pollution. I can't imagine that. The best gift my Dad gave me -- stargazing.

  • @Yourmomisnthere I'm sorry, things are different for me this year too. But keep your chin up! God is gonna take care of us!

  • tnx 4 posting dis song dis was da song in da year 2003 helps me fal asleep its da last song dat da radio station play here it reminds me of dat tym tnx! God bless u!
