cell mass and creatine will not build anymore muscles for your body. If u have a shit diet it is alirght to add creatine if you arent eating meats. u only have a limited amount of creatine kinase, the shit that actually utilizes the creatine, so shoving a ton in your body is pointless; it doesnt increase muscular strength by alot, it just makes u look big
Yo Elliot. I have now reached my goal weight and I am still 6'2 at 185lbs (it's been a year). I still have body fat to burn though. I am 17 years old. (I naturally have a large built physic like you) I'm just unhappy with my strength, and I want to be able to see my muscles more. Can I start taking creatine along with the protein shakes I take to get stronger? I ask this because you mention I will see an increase in weight. Just scares me a little when I hear that lol. Thank you!!
my football team is starting workouts ive been taking whey protein after my weight training classes, and ive been wondering if can take protein with creatine?
Im 5'9 1/2 , 210 pounds , an im only 16 . ive been working out for about 3 years so far.
so im wondering if this is safe ?Can some one help me , thank you
hey elliot I'm 180lb 6'3. i play football if i gain mass will i lose my six-pack? i mean i don't mind losing it but its increased my speed and strength. I'm 19 and play OLB. i can deadlift 425x3 though with no belt and my 40 is 4.7, but can anyone help me by giving advice on gaining but keeping my speed???? thank you!
@TheMattismatt true...because...my coach told me...with a good training and good nutrition...the best you can get is 20 pounds maybe more...in 6 months. (but it's 20 pounds of pure muscle.
April Fools lol? Got me at the part where he chugs cream with protein because hes scientifically backed claims about our body needing fat to figure out what to do with proteins.
im curious im overweight i mworking out, can i or should i take creatine to help build muscle because muscle burns calories right? right now im taking bsn syntha 6 and the whey prtein ON your using
@CallMeAndyx3 nah bro, dont take creatine unless u wanna bulk. get cut first and then if u wanna get bigger n stronger then u can take creatine, cus creatine makes u store water in ur muscles which makes u bit bigger
@CallMeAndyx3 idk why your using 2 kinds of proteins but i ont see anything wrong with using a creatine if your trying to lose fat. you might gain weight but ill be water weight from the water being stored in your muscles. im about to take Whey 100% ON protein and BSN cell mass just like this guy. those are both recommended by a lot of people. just workout hard keep a good diet and youll be fine. make sure to drink a lot of water with your creatine or youll cramp up
I'm wanting to bulk up on muscle but wanting to lose all this extra fat I have acquired by taking the last six years off from working out. Would it be better to lose the fat first and then bulk up or work on getting how big I want and then losing the fat? Right now I'm 6'9" and 350lbs.
@shurdawg you only need supplements if you don't eat enough of a certain food :P for example i take whey protein (shake form) cause i don't get enough protein, and i also supplement multivitamins and EFA in case i don't get enough of them.
creatine mono is the best and cheapest creatine. Its a supplement that gives some good strength but to think your gonna get better results from a bsn creatine is rediculous. There are no creatine products that are proven to be more effective than regular monohydrate
bsn got sued because they claimed it had chem3 of whatever the new creatine was called in it. there was no such thing as that creatine so they had to recall all those supplements and reshelf them with different ingredients
you can probably buy a 10ml bottle of legit testosterone enanthate for the same price as a bottle of creatine you get at GNC, and you're guaranteed (for real) to make some sick gains
i never see a difference with those fancy creatines, basic mono hidrate seems just as effective but with half the price tag.i used the muscletech one and it was totall bullshit,i had better strength of the basic £12 tub then the £60 muscletech crap!!
creatine is okay it fills your muscle with water and you will weigh more but it does help with strength using creatine will help you get 1 or 2 reps more so if you were able to do 5 reps of a certain weight you are going to do 6 or 7, sideffects of creatine just gonna get more bulky
@Frogal00n .........my spelling does suck !! as far as the creatine i have been using it since day one , and there's nothing i see where it did anything for me and i have used all the best ones on the market any pro body builder that creatine works is full of crap i know IFBB PRO'S and they would not use it at all .any brand .
@689321546 Creatine has different effects on different people. A common misconception is that people think creatine works for everyone, so your point is valid - for you!
why not throw beta-alanine in the mix? Check out the research on beta-alanine when consumed with creatine monohydrate (jissn.org, pubmed.com, and ergo-log.com have great articles)...to those of you who think creatine is a steroid or think that it "makes your muscles look bigger just because it puts water weight on" needs to read every article published about creatine on the above websites
30% protein? way to much if im 160lbs x 20 = 3200 calories 3200 cal x .3 = 980 calories of protein? 980 cal / 4(cal per gram protein) = 240 g of protein a day?????? no, you need 1.6-1.7 g per KG(not lbs) of body weight and thats for high resistance athletics training 5-6 days a week...thats about 120 g of protein for me not 240 g..... you need 15% of protein a day from your total caloric intake no 30%
Check out my channel it is all about supplements and did you know that you dont have to load with creatine, check out my vids. I just made the channel but if you subscribe i will have plenty of videos that are useful
@lavadog34 You're supposed to cycle on and off of creatine. All the years of studies and use nobody has had major trouble from creatine. Just cycle off after a month or two for about a month, also drink plenty off water every day.
Does creatine have a fattening effect? I mean, it says it will help me build muscles and all... but the amount of sugar in six star creatine...... anyone knows?
@yakuzasama01 Creatine alone does not have a "fattening" effect. It causes your muscles to hold more water weight, not fat. Just get some cheap creatine mono for like 10 bucks and try it.
@bkellum89 I've been working out for about.. 6 months? Do you think I should take that? I've heard ppl should only take it past 1 year work out experience...
@yakuzasama01 The reason most think it's a bad idea is because within the first year you shouldn't have much trouble making gains since your body isn't used to working out. Creatine will help, but after you cycle on and off for just say a year or 2 the effects in most people are going to be less drastic. It's really for you to decide on, I personally take it on 2 months and off a month when I use it.
@yakuzasama01 Try on one month and off one month, yes that's cycling lol. If you have time type "Lee Hayward Creatine Side Effects" and watch the first video, he explains it very well. If you need any more help let me know.
@yakuzasama01 Oh also to answer your cycle question of why you're supposed to. The basic answer is so your body doesn't get used/immune to it....Easy explanation, if you look at someone who has drank alcohol for 10 years compared to someone that has never drank it who will it have more effect on? The month or so off gives your bodies creatine level time to lower back to normal.
@GusMartin2 No they wont. There are no studies proving this that I have seen, if you can find one then show it to me please. Because there are a majority of studies that prove otherwise
@GusMartin2 Im sorry but I have never heard of creatine receptors in the way you are talking about them, I have even went on medical sites to look it up. Will you enlighten me about you are talking about? (not trying to be a jerk sorry just sounds bad either way)
Thanks Elliot, I like your videos. What do think about doing daily cardio (30 min) light to intermediate intensity cardio, if I want to lift heavy and gain mass. Should I do cardio?
I use Creatine Anabolic by USN. When I take that it feels like i can do a lot more when I'm in the gym. I recommend that. By the way it's a UK company so I don't exactly know if they will sell it in the US.
@WTSMiniEvenniaLOL well theres no point drinking whey protein of theres already enough protein in the meal already! but if your meal is lacking protein then you should have a shake :)
@HypnoticPrime yeah you could but i got the best results taking it on an empty stomach in the morning. Goes great with some orange juice as it is also recommended to eat/drink some sugar as it will help the body to fully take in the creatine.
@WTSMiniEvenniaLOL why woudnl't you? Whey protein is good but only have it when eating whole foods is an inconvenience. I'm 18 and I took creatine when I was 17 its graaand! Just cycle off it for a month after about 10 weeks of it.
I don't believe in doing that in my opinion. I think you should take your protein immediately after your workout and maybe 30 minutes after that, take your creatine. That is solely my technique.
check iherb.com for cheap Creatine and Whey.Use cod KEB068 for 5 $ off on your first purchase.I buy all my supplements and vitamins from there because are cheaper then other stores.take a look.
Yo Elliot I'm 19, 6'1'' and 200 lbs. i just finished a container of GP3, and i really liked it, if you get a chance i would recommend it, i didn't gain much weight maybe 5 pounds, but gain a lot of strength, explosive power and my cardio even got better. its a blended creatine powder made by adavanced genetic, give it try!
Monstermilk by Cytosport is a nice protein in my opinion, it has 3g of creatine and 50g of protein per 2 scoops. Seems to me that it actually works unlike some proteins I've tried.
Yo Elliot what would he a good diet for teenagers (I'm 14 almost 15) and I'm sorta limited to whatever my parents eat for dinner but its normally pretty healthy stuff and I'd also like to know what supplements I can take and which ones you recommended for me
im 15 and was wondering if creatine is safe for me .? i have been lifting weights for 2 years now , and am able to bench 160 lbs , but my arms still dont look proportional to the rest of my muscle
The most muscle the human body will put on is between .25-.50 pounds a MONTH, if you don't believe me then look it up. Don't confuse water weight and Fat for muscle...if you believe your 7 pounds in one week was muscle then Lord help you.........
ectomorph ,mass all u guys r just after the look?? ..Its absurd ..I'd rather have the look of an athlete or maybe a strong man rather than a really bulky bodybuilder. and have the health ,functionality ..and benefits to real life
I use a whey protein with 5g Creatine Monohydrate in it with 52 g protein per 2scoops. Twin lab creatine nitrate fuel with 7.5 g creatine monohydrate. And standard brand of pill-form L-glutamine. I'm only 15 and weigh 207.
@wootuser listen and learn son, for a start glutamine is bullshit, you DO take creatine on its own then you take your protien shake 20 mins later, and its a good idea to through in some donuts after your creatine to help spike it!
@wootuser no mate, your your just brainwashed by the media and your quite comical, think i would waste money on that glutamine shit? if your a fat bastard it may not be a good idea to have a coulple of jam jams, but even then it would not really harm you, thats the best time to have some, creatine, then wait a few minuites and get some carbs down you, and down it with a protein drink, learn the right way kid!
"My last meal at night is usually around 8pm, and I have a shake, and my first meal is about 7am (oatmeal and egg whites). I don't eat during the night, but usually I take glutamine powder ... I keep the glutamine by the sink and take 5-10 grams of glutamine when I go."
Jay Cutler, interviewed by Ron Avidan in 2003.
I wonder if Coleman takes it? A=Yes.
Maybe you're not pushing yourself to the point where you need L-Glutamine?
Wait, I don't want you to think it's only body builders selling glutamine are the only ones using Glutamine. Maybe we should look at Ryan Kennelly (1st man to benchpress 800 pounds) meals:
Meal Six: 5 grams of glutamine mixed in with a glass of orange juice and 5 grams of creatine mixed in with a glass of water ... Meal Nine: 5 grams of Eclipse Glutamine Powder mixed with orange juice and 2 Eclipse Humatropil p.o capsules
@wootuser those guys are monsters, i very doubt you are in the same category, besides it could be all bullshit but you would still want to believe it because thats what they say, and even pro bodybuilders are not as knowledgeable as you think, they just have superior genetics (with large amounts of drugs) , if cutler said in a magazine that he eats pasta at 12.45 am on a sunday, you would copy him wouldn't you? your not the only dimwit wannabe out there, theres a sucker born every minute!
Now the argument is genetics, I can see if you have a physical deformity it may be a problem. Everyone has potential, look at Rich Gaspari. But you're supplementing with doughnuts and taking about genetics. Next you're going to tell me you have to be a certain height, ethnicity, rich or some other excuse.
I don't need to copy Cutler, the argument was Glutamine - remember. .
Dimwit? The only one looking like the fool here is you.
@wootuser err no, it may have started out as glutimine but you were saying i was wrong to eat donuts and what not, the truth is you are brainwashed and you have A LOT to learn you wanna take glut take the useless pile of crap, your money at the end of the day, yes you are the dimwit and YOUR the fool and a sheep, my nutrition is probably heaps better than yours, keep taking your glutimine and i'll keep laughing, and weather you like it or not, at the end of the day, over 50% of it is genetics!
Educate yourself on the Glycemic Index then figure out where the doughnut is on that index compared to all the other foods you can use to spike your insulin levels.
Looking at your comment on Scooby's site you're nothing but an ass. Here's your quote:
"its all to do with genetic make up, it dont matter how you train or what you eat or drink or smoke"
So rainxxxx, drink that beer, smoke thos cigarettes and eat those doughnuts you 16 year old troll.
@wootuser it is to do with genetics and i have seen people drink and smoke and still make more gains than an ecto ever could, scooby is just a fucking nimrod who thinks we all live in an ideal world, and stupid bastards like yourselves will suck up anything he says, so shut up with all this glyemic bullshit and learn the raw facts about genetics, dont wanna accept the truth? Well TOUGH SHIT MOTHER FUCKER COS THATS THE WAY IT IS!
If anyone wants to know the ins and outs of creatine and how it works, please check out my channel, im a qualified fitness instructor with a nutrition degree. Thank you, thumbs ups so people can see :D
great vid! very helpful, but is there any difference with taking creatin as a tablet form, then as a powder form? or does it not matter which way you intake creatien? cheers mate :)
you don't need all these supplements, i was hooked on this notion for years wasted alot of money and never seen any results just eat right stay away from unhealthy foods and exercise consistentally and you will see results! i dont take any of this shiot anymore. all these manufactored supplements will ruin your digestive system.
@lordvoldemort578 Creatine doesn't magically make your muscles bigger, it allows you train harder than you normally could which speeds up gains.
If you stop taking creatine you might lose a bit of mass from water, but the real muscle you did add will be greater than if you hadn't taken it and that's not going to disappear.
@danisasuperbeast I am 6' and was 160lbs, size 32' waist. Was real skinny, had no muscle, but had a "six-pack", though it wasn't real defined. I started taking creatine, eating a lot more(high protein, low carbs, small meals, as often as I was hungry) In six months I put on 40lbs, and was still a size 32' waist. And it wasn't even that hard. I can guarantee you won't lose that six pack if you eat right and exercise, you'll put on quality lean muscle and if anything you'll be more defined.
Haha I'm a varsity wrestler and went from 142 on a Wednesday to 124.8 on a Saturday and by the end of that tourney I weighed 145 I ate a coolers worth of food but still
There are alot of mass builders out there that helps smaller kids get weight so that they can turn it into muscle. I personally us Mass XXX and it does help because the thing about size in muscles is if you come up short on calories( fats, carbs, proteins) it can make it seem like size gain is impossible
20 pounds in three weeks??? ur the biggest bullshiter on the planet!!!!! not humanly possible. and if this is true the weight he put on is mostly water weight or fat!

@lavadog34 You're supposed to cycle on and off of creatine. All the years of studies and use nobody has had major trouble from creatine. Just cycle off after a month or two for about a month, also drink plenty off water every day.
bkellum89 2 months ago
Does creatine have a fattening effect? I mean, it says it will help me build muscles and all... but the amount of sugar in six star creatine...... anyone knows?
yakuzasama01 2 months ago
@yakuzasama01 Creatine alone does not have a "fattening" effect. It causes your muscles to hold more water weight, not fat. Just get some cheap creatine mono for like 10 bucks and try it.
bkellum89 2 months ago
@bkellum89 I've been working out for about.. 6 months? Do you think I should take that? I've heard ppl should only take it past 1 year work out experience...
yakuzasama01 2 months ago
@yakuzasama01 The reason most think it's a bad idea is because within the first year you shouldn't have much trouble making gains since your body isn't used to working out. Creatine will help, but after you cycle on and off for just say a year or 2 the effects in most people are going to be less drastic. It's really for you to decide on, I personally take it on 2 months and off a month when I use it.
bkellum89 2 months ago
@bkellum89 Taking it on for 2 months and off a month... is that what you call.. cycling? I may sound dumb... but why do you cycle? xD
yakuzasama01 2 months ago
@yakuzasama01 Try on one month and off one month, yes that's cycling lol. If you have time type "Lee Hayward Creatine Side Effects" and watch the first video, he explains it very well. If you need any more help let me know.
bkellum89 2 months ago
@yakuzasama01 Oh also to answer your cycle question of why you're supposed to. The basic answer is so your body doesn't get used/immune to it....Easy explanation, if you look at someone who has drank alcohol for 10 years compared to someone that has never drank it who will it have more effect on? The month or so off gives your bodies creatine level time to lower back to normal.
bkellum89 2 months ago
@yakuzasama01 Your creatine receptors will become less sensitive meaning they wont work..
GusMartin2 2 months ago
@GusMartin2 No they wont. There are no studies proving this that I have seen, if you can find one then show it to me please. Because there are a majority of studies that prove otherwise
TheMan16111 2 months ago
@TheMan16111 Trust me Ive used it for many years I know the in and outs about it. The benifits decrease rapidly, not completely but pretty much.
GusMartin2 2 months ago
@GusMartin2 Im sorry but I have never heard of creatine receptors in the way you are talking about them, I have even went on medical sites to look it up. Will you enlighten me about you are talking about? (not trying to be a jerk sorry just sounds bad either way)

I use Creatine Anabolic by USN. When I take that it feels like i can do a lot more when I'm in the gym. I recommend that. By the way it's a UK company so I don't exactly know if they will sell it in the US.
SKiLLiGEstaz 2 months ago
@WTSMiniEvenniaLOL well theres no point drinking whey protein of theres already enough protein in the meal already! but if your meal is lacking protein then you should have a shake :)
mouthforwar93 2 months ago
@HypnoticPrime yeah you could but i got the best results taking it on an empty stomach in the morning. Goes great with some orange juice as it is also recommended to eat/drink some sugar as it will help the body to fully take in the creatine.
masterknaster 2 months ago
@WTSMiniEvenniaLOL why woudnl't you? Whey protein is good but only have it when eating whole foods is an inconvenience. I'm 18 and I took creatine when I was 17 its graaand! Just cycle off it for a month after about 10 weeks of it.

can you mix creatine along with your whey protein shake for a post workout drink?
HynoticPrime 3 months ago
@HynoticPrime
I don't believe in doing that in my opinion. I think you should take your protein immediately after your workout and maybe 30 minutes after that, take your creatine. That is solely my technique.

Creatine is not used for recovery. It help in muscle contractions. And why don't you just by creatine instead of buying it in a mix.
What is helping you recover is the Glutamine and Protein.
And Vitamin C helps some but not as much as the protein and Glutamine.
20 Pounds come on man. It seems like your stretching the truth a little to show favor for your hard core strength camp.
wootuser 5 months ago
@wootuser listen and learn son, for a start glutamine is bullshit, you DO take creatine on its own then you take your protien shake 20 mins later, and its a good idea to through in some donuts after your creatine to help spike it!
rainxxxx 4 months ago
@rainxxxx
Is this the Homer Simpson bodybuilding plan or the who wants to die of a heart attack plan.
Why the hell would you get your Insuline levels up with some dounuts of all things on this planet?
If your taking creatine on it's own mix it with grape juice or sports drink.
Glutamine is BS? LOL, I think your being a troll?
wootuser 4 months ago
@wootuser no mate, your your just brainwashed by the media and your quite comical, think i would waste money on that glutamine shit? if your a fat bastard it may not be a good idea to have a coulple of jam jams, but even then it would not really harm you, thats the best time to have some, creatine, then wait a few minuites and get some carbs down you, and down it with a protein drink, learn the right way kid!
rainxxxx 4 months ago
@rainxxxx
I wonder what Jay Cutler thinks?
"My last meal at night is usually around 8pm, and I have a shake, and my first meal is about 7am (oatmeal and egg whites). I don't eat during the night, but usually I take glutamine powder ... I keep the glutamine by the sink and take 5-10 grams of glutamine when I go."
Jay Cutler, interviewed by Ron Avidan in 2003.
I wonder if Coleman takes it? A=Yes.
Maybe you're not pushing yourself to the point where you need L-Glutamine?
wootuser 4 months ago
@wootuser
Meal Nine: 5 grams of Eclipse Glutamine Powder mixed with orange juice and 2 Eclipse Humatropil p.o capsules
wootuser 4 months ago
@wootuser those guys are monsters, i very doubt you are in the same category, besides it could be all bullshit but you would still want to believe it because thats what they say, and even pro bodybuilders are not as knowledgeable as you think, they just have superior genetics (with large amounts of drugs) , if cutler said in a magazine that he eats pasta at 12.45 am on a sunday, you would copy him wouldn't you? your not the only dimwit wannabe out there, theres a sucker born every minute!
rainxxxx 4 months ago
@rainxxxx
I got some advise, take a nutrition class..
wootuser 4 months ago
@wootuser err no, it may have started out as glutimine but you were saying i was wrong to eat donuts and what not, the truth is you are brainwashed and you have A LOT to learn you wanna take glut take the useless pile of crap, your money at the end of the day, yes you are the dimwit and YOUR the fool and a sheep, my nutrition is probably heaps better than yours, keep taking your glutimine and i'll keep laughing, and weather you like it or not, at the end of the day, over 50% of it is genetics!
rainxxxx 4 months ago
@rainxxxx
So rainxxxx, drink that beer, smoke thos cigarettes and eat those doughnuts you 16 year old troll.
wootuser 4 months ago
@wootuser it is to do with genetics and i have seen people drink and smoke and still make more gains than an ecto ever could, scooby is just a fucking nimrod who thinks we all live in an ideal world, and stupid bastards like yourselves will suck up anything he says, so shut up with all this glyemic bullshit and learn the raw facts about genetics, dont wanna accept the truth? Well TOUGH SHIT MOTHER FUCKER COS THATS THE WAY IT IS!

MrHutch7 5 months ago
@MrHutch7 Just google it. Creatine is fine if you want to get some mass and bigger muscles. Just don't over-do the recommended daily dose.
VelaStorm7 5 months ago
@VelaStorm7 I don't want to retain water because something happens what if i stop taking creatine and the gains go away?
lordvoldemort578 5 months ago
@lordvoldemort578 Creatine doesn't magically make your muscles bigger, it allows you train harder than you normally could which speeds up gains.
If you stop taking creatine you might lose a bit of mass from water, but the real muscle you did add will be greater than if you hadn't taken it and that's not going to disappear.

i have a six pack and weigh about 133lb, im 5'6 but im worried if i gain more weight ill lose my six pack.. any advice?
danisasuperbeast 6 months ago
@danisasuperbeast I am 6' and was 160lbs, size 32' waist. Was real skinny, had no muscle, but had a "six-pack", though it wasn't real defined. I started taking creatine, eating a lot more(high protein, low carbs, small meals, as often as I was hungry) In six months I put on 40lbs, and was still a size 32' waist. And it wasn't even that hard. I can guarantee you won't lose that six pack if you eat right and exercise, you'll put on quality lean muscle and if anything you'll be more defined.
DontPanicDan 6 months ago
@danisasuperbeast gain muscle and not fat, weight is not the issue.
Sleepyhead54 5 months ago
Haha I'm a varsity wrestler and went from 142 on a Wednesday to 124.8 on a Saturday and by the end of that tourney I weighed 145 I ate a coolers worth of food but still
There are alot of mass builders out there that helps smaller kids get weight so that they can turn it into muscle. I personally us Mass XXX and it does help because the thing about size in muscles is if you come up short on calories( fats, carbs, proteins) it can make it seem like size gain is impossible
Bankston94 6 months ago
20 pounds in three weeks??? ur the biggest bullshiter on the planet!!!!! not humanly possible. and if this is true the weight he put on is mostly water weight or fat!
