If we could focus all of the governments spending into science we could start moving off this planet, inhabit space and turn most of earth into an international park
Yet in the year 1000, Vikings inhabited Greenland growing crops and sheep untill the climate changed again and drove them off.Guess it was all them Inuit suv"s.All of history is of migration of peoples due to climate change, socialist schemes and redisturibution efoorts will have no effect.
@supressorgrid That's true but we have a massive amount of evidence showing that the current rise of temperatures is caused by a rise in CO2. I like how you say that people adapt but adapting is hard, why don't we make our energy adapt to nuclear, solar, and wind?
@MzBUZZKILINGTON Fine, as long as it is not BIG WIND,SOLAR,and NUKE run by big government and subsidized by the public trough. Failed alternative energy schemes theat are politically connected are given money while good ideas fall by the wayside. If the freemarket was unleashed we would have been off oil long ago.
i wish we could speed this up , i want to see whats under all that ice , and there are atleast a few places in the world that could use the increase in rain , Greenland will be green again soon , exciting times ahead
A girl named Ashly Kingsworth was looking for down a well and a ghost pushed her down the well. now that you read this you must Copy and Paste to 2 Other Video's or else tonight at 12:00
she will stand at the end of you're bed and pull you down the well she died in
inside our earth is a core of heat (gas) and it has its own rotation, and that gets hotter and hotter and hotter... so the ice will melt, cool down the earth(stop it exploding), then the excess water will gradually freeze again because of how cold the earth will be...(we all be dead probably -so no more fossil fuels) and then the whole bacteria growing into life forms in an ice-age, then life forms adapting and evolving will happen. But not ever night, over billions and billions of years.
Super great vid!!! Climate changes have always occured and the suns activity was often the biggest reason for that, besides vulcano activity. People should be more flexible and adapt to changes, nothing wrong with that
Well.. not exactly.. Although you're right about the few people in Greenland compared to many people in Europe, Asia, Africa and the States part, some countries: Canada, America, Russia, Denmark and I think Norway too (I'm not sure of that one) are indeed going to benefit from it! Because in the Northpole are enormous oil and gas reserves (which is pretty ironical)!!
so pretty much just africa gets screwed lolz, well they are pumping out so many babies down there maybe they need the correction, aids isn't working fast enough
The population of Greenland is less than 60,000, the majority being the Inuit who are not farmers but hunters and fishermen. So, a microscopic fraction of the world's population is benefiting from Global Warming while the majority of the world's population is either suffering or soon to suffer from Global Warming. Do a google video search for "devour the earth" to get a faint idea of what the situation really is, and what is awaiting us in the very near future. :(
The fact is the majority of the population means mountains with less snow caps and less water for billions, hotter temperatures means mountain tops becoming deserts in Colorado, hotter temperatures in so many others areas affecting far more people. Higher temperatures means less fish in other parts of the world or just overfishing. By the way Exxon now that they had to stop saying global warming is not real on television, not they use the internet for their lies.
Wonderful... I guess when all the coastal cities have to evacuate, all those people can just move to GREENLAND. What's good for somebody somewhere, sucks for someone else elsewhere.
This video was no doubt paid for by ExxonMobil, BP, and Shell.
great, more cod means more people, more people means faster population growth, making a need for more fishing and eventual devastation of the environment. what a positive effect this all is.
stop flying around with helicopters and watching reindeers. get a job, get a life and do sensible things as you supposed to, namely working. bloody hell.
ugh i used to fish in greenland and one time these two older women told us that greenland isnt like it used to be. getting warmer and certain creatures were leaving for longer periods of time
by the way greanland is only conquered by the dsnes and partly colonised by them while it belongs to its native people a kind of native eskimos.. or like the austrlia which has its Aboriginal..
Beautiful more land

You can live far, far a part and still share the same sentiments. It's really just that simple, too.

I'm happy to adapt to global warming and it's changes. It's 99% natural.
But I won't adapt to carbon taxes.

even though climate change will cause positive effects, the downside is the introduction to one stable diseases.

Rain? What makes you think there'll be an increase in rain just because the sea level rises?

for some reason the names are the wrong way for what is logical... or at least thats how it was...
h2o2sjm 3 years ago
the names were originally switched to throw off early explorers, mainly vikings, so that people would pass up Iceland.
