The airport runways is safe NMIA has been in operation since the late 1960s and this is the first mishap to this magnitude...Public roads are very cammon to be in close proximity of airpots and runways e.g. Tampa..Orlando..Miami..Ft. Lauderdale..JFK..and much others..so the public road is and should not be an issue here...

I'm here left puzzled. Viewers do you think that airport runway is safe? With all the terrorist acts being carried out worlwide, I think that a public road running under the belly of a ASCENDING AIRCRAFT should be GREAT concern. Terrorist can use ROCKET PROPELLED GRENADES OR HIGH CALIBER WEAPONS TO DOWN A AIRCRAFT. I wonder if I'm the only one that see it that way. I'm hoping that the U.S investigators will look into that before it happens. MAYBE THIS IS A BLESSING IN DISGUISE.
