@HowsaBowsaYowsa So that is where she went. Rudy Miller was the "environmental reporter" at KRON in San Francisco for a spell back in the late 1970s. Wonder where she is now.
@efrem1 Here's what I found...Miller first hit Baltimore airwaves in the late 1970s as a reporter for WBAL, Channel 11. After a brief stay there, she left for San Francisco, spending a year there before returning to WBAL in 1979. She stayed at Channel 11 for 10 years, quitting her full-time position in 1989.
Two years later, she started work at WMAR, serving as co-anchor of the early morning newscast -- a position she retained until last fall, when she became a full-time consumer reporter.
@efrem1 She still lives around Baltimore, but retired from WMAR in 1999. She became the spokeswoman for Lifebridge Health. I don't know if she is still doing that. I haven't seen her in a commercial or anything in a long time.
Say eyeontv, you wouldn't happen to have any clips of WBAL's children's quiz show "Head's up" would you? Because i remember watching it on saturday mornings back in the day. In fact, back then i thought it was part of CBS' saturday morning schedule. LOL.
@chipdrusano I'm pretty sure it was on WMAR Channel 2 back in the day because I was on that show as a kid and won 2 gold paper stars with yellow yarn. My brother was on it with me and I was trying to find the tape of the show so I could give it to my mom. If you find any info please let me know. I wrote WMAR and they said they had no tapes.
I always liked Rudy Miller. Very personable. Liked her when she was the weather gal on WBAL in the late 70s.

For the anchor Dave promo, that looks exactly similar to Larry Moore promo for sister station ABC-9 KMBC Kansas City.

Take another look at the Dave Durian pancake promo and you'll notice a continuity error.
Although Rudy Miller tries to wipe batter off Dave's tie at the close, how did the tie get splattered when Dave was wearing an apron the whole time?

Someone should've been fired over that.

That's ubiquitous jingle singin' Richie Havens with "Eleven On Your Side".
Royal Parker does the v.o. for "Sanford & Son" as well as announcing the movie.
