  • Fantastic song. Dopey video. It looks oddly British. Senseless anti-American war-making propaganda. Just so you didn't miss the point of the whole exercise, they had to show that sophomoric bumpersticker at the end. What a shame to attach this crap to such a great song. Thanks for the posting.

  • A true gem that would/should/could have been a big hit if not for that unfortunate final line.

  • @tunanorth That is the best part and true. "Gravestones cheer the living dear they're no use to the dead

    '

  • Music videos did not take off until 1984 or so when Madonnna got on the scene. But as we see here, they were around almost 20 years before that.

  • How many of you found this by watching Market to Market on IPTV?!?

  • @TeamTARDIS2015 What is IPTV? I used to see Market to Market on OETA (Oklahoma Public Television) back in the early '80s. I thought it was a local show, but maybe not. (It was a long time ago.) I saw this on Laugh-In in syndication in the mid or late '80s, which is how I finally learned what band it was.

  • @kittyprydekissme IPTV (Iowa Public television) produces a show to let all us local farmers what is going on in the industry and the current stocks. And this song has been there theme song for a long time

  • @TeamTARDIS2015 I LOVED the theme song to Market to Market as a kid. I was so happy to find that there was a video for this song.

  • Jackson Browne's in the video? Hard to tell.

  • @muziktrkr Browne had left the Band by this time. When this was filmed it would have been Jeff Hanna, John McEuen, Jimmie Fadden, Les Thompson, Ralph Barr and Bruce Kunkel

  • Oh how I miss Trio :( What a great channel that was not afraid to show different things. This is from the first season of Laugh In which premiered in January 1968. A very fitting video for the times.

  • @storrs19 Too true about Trio. It was too good to last, alas. And weirdly, I remember this video. My family loved Laugh-In; we watched it religiously.

  • When I first heard this track on the radio I thought they would be a "one hit wonder".

This was in 1966, if I recall. I wonder if Lady Gaga will be around in 40 years time?

  • this is great song always liked it and I remember watch'n this on TV Monday nights 8:00 as aired ..thanx for posting...........
