I'm back to having loose natural hair after having dreadlocks for almost 5 years, and I've forgotten all the things I can do with my hair - and the biggest thing I've forgotten is how to not do anything to it at all. Thank you for the reminder that I don't always need to do two strand twists and all that mess, sometimes I can just shake and go!
Bravo! Funny and serious too.I hope you produce segments somewhere ffor a living if not you should certainly give it some thought. Peace and blessings
I love love love this Video. It is very creative with a great point to it. The ending was perfect. Thanks so much for making this video. When I start to have doubts about my natural hair I will just watch this video again. Thanks again.
I concur I like my natural hair better anyway I just didn't know it. Great video it's much easier when you accept yourself for who you are naturally;)
standing ovation to you for this video. Ive been natural for a year and a half, and I straighten (press w/flaw iron) my hair entirely too much trying to corporate for my job. Im going to wear it the way it grows out of my scalp!!!
Nope. I wore my hair relaxed for many years. I got tired of sometimes getting scars, having to sit with the chemicals in my hair, straightening it, etc.... it seems like I do WAY less stuff now that my hair is natural. And I definitely don't have to worry about not scratching my hair before washing it!
My hair actually is not very thick, especially compared to my two sisters; and my texture is very much like soft spirals, it just doesn't look like that in the video. It looks better irl.
this is a beautiful video how clever!!! I like how when you start over and the anouncer says "natural beauty is possible" and you tie a ribbon around your hair and walk away. thats what I'm talking about!!!
i always thought those hair straighteners wouldn't work very well in nappy hair? that's why i never used one (i use hot comb), what hair straighteners do use? i wouldn't mind getting myself one of those? also to make your hair soft use conditioner, don't use shampoo, it makes your hair much easier to comb through.
Well my hair texture is medium-grade. I used to get a relaxer, but if I needed to straighten it now, I would blow dry it out and then straighten it with a pressing comb or flat-iron.
yep, that's the best thing you can do, but i wouldn't blow dry your hair though it will dry your hair out and make it difficult to comb, just towel dry it out.
Love this video - and laughed a few times :-)

I sort of thought of it before like a mane, except for only male lions have manes.... so that didn't work well. Your analogy is better! =D
