Shortly after gave birth to Ocelot (He was born on D-Day), The Boss got send behind enemy lines to do some covert op missions. Probably about top secret Nazi 'Giant Walking Robot' plan. (a Metal Gear prototype) and how it led to the forming of the Philosophers. Ended with the mission to elliminate the Sorrow in Russia. And the epilogue showed The Boss met Naked Snake and taught him to be a soldier.

yeah they do when the barrel is so short it cant stabilize the bullet the bullet some refer to it as "Keyholing" sometimes i have noticed if i use 60 grain ammo in my Ak it will make "KeyHoles".

Bullets do not flip/tumble in mid air, even if they are keyholes, they don't spin around.

again overpowered ,short barreled rifles have the tendency to make bullets tumble or keyhole.

i have gotten key holes pointed left right up and down before so it must be doing some spinning or tumbling, maybe they dont flip back words like in the video but it is just a game.

Key holes travel straight. After they leave the gun barrel they do not spin or move, they do, however, travel sideways, hence the keyhole effect.

It gives them more shredding power. Her gun is based on a real gun that was not invented at the time. Her's is probably the first working protype. But the barrel is shortned making it a 1 handed at the cost of inhuman recoil.

One reason, and its logical, is that since the rifle barrel is so short, there's too much energy into the bullet with little space to dissipate it. In reality, bullets yawing is bad for accuuracy. Also, the rifle she used is probably the Colt model 723 with stock removed and even shortened barrel. the colt was based on the M16A2 carbine version, which isn't in production until 20-30 years later.

Because The Patriot is just a modified Colt Commando, it's probably chambered for 5.56 NATO which spins and fragments when it hits flesh. She probably just modified the rifling so that the round starts tumbling as soon as it leaves the barrel. This would provide increased flesh damage at the cost of accuracy and penetration, which isn't too practical. Of course, neither is removing the stock, front sight post, and then adding a C-Mag...But hey, it's a video game.

Due to the PATRIOTs cut-down barrel, the 5.56 rounds she's firing do not have a long path to follow. Taking into account the light weight of the 5.56, the rounds tumble. This also happens if a 5.56 pierces a target. Whether it be animal or inanimate. That makes the 5.56mm an extremely dangerous round. It's only downside is there is barely any kinetic energy behind it, due it's small size. In other words, there is almost no stopping power behind it. Which is very bad in CQB. I hope this helped.

I think she meant that Snake is too attached to her, and that he lacks the will power to kill her. <Spoilers to others> Notice the Boss's comment about personal beliefs vs. duty. Her duty WAS to be killed by Snake, but seeing as how Snake is still concerned the Boss's defection, the Boss does not believe that Snake is ready to face her.
