The gameplay and story look very good. I don't know why many people bash thid game! I think it suffers the same fate as Devil May Cry 2. I didn't see any glitches or bugs here nor anywhere else.

Yea, they totally screwed my timelines over with the time traveling thing. Everything just wouldn't make sense with Sonic, Shadow, Blaze, Mephiles and Silver all running around in the present, past and future, along with Tails, Knuckles and Rouge at some intervals. But on the Elise/Iblis subject I'm thinking perhaps if the future sequences already happened, that when Sonic sees the ship crash before going back in time with Silver's help, Elise and Sonic already jumped ship and escape? I dunno.

I think that Iblis' life didn't depend on Elise to live for this to work, and that Iblis was freed in her death. o.o

I suppose killing Elise might be the equivalent of smashing Mephilis' scepter: it lets the bad stuff out. There's a lot of plot holes with time travel, but assuming death=Iblis freedom, then Silver can never save his era by meddling with the past since the vessel will eventually "crack". What he does gain is a method to re-seal Iblis in the future. ... It fits nicely, but I don't think Sonic could come up with that train of thought himself...
