  • i hope other musician don't need to go through what i did. but yes, sometimes they have very good prices, but the policy is really bad this days.

  • great musician, but watch out for billyhyde at camperdown sydney. Bought 2 custom shop maton last month, and experienced the worst customer services from the fat arrogant manager martin there. One of the case of my maton have a loose joint, he wouldn't exchange a new one, then one of the stompbox i bought clips the PA i was using, and no refund as well, so yeah, spend 6 grand and no refund on $100 item, plus no exchange for faulty case. So beware if your buying from billyhyde,

  • If you bought them new I dont see any reason why you can't claim your warranty ?! BTW big discounts on some items today only so may get some good deals, check your local store it will be crowded.

  • I could claim warrenty but thats only if the item was found faulty after 14 days of use or something. i bought the case back few days after i bought my maton, then the manager there was a big cockhead. Long story, at the end he exchanged the case, but he tried to be pain. First he told me there's no more maton case for the 808 model, and if he ave one,

  • he would exchange, and told me i can either leave the case and have it sent back to maton to wait for 12 weeks, thats sounds shocking hey, but its true, thats his solution for a geniune customer. Next thing is i found 3 other maton 808 case lying upstairs, then i asked him to exchange me now, more shocking, he refused and make a story saying a maton rep just came in and told him that retailers arn't allow to exchange faulty case.

  • And so i asked a full refund, i mean, who would want to pay 6 grand and receive this poor service, i have many other options to shop. So this fat clueless martin, so call manager finally exchanged the case. And mind you, when i asked for a refund, he tried to refuse it as well,

  • so there you go, i mean theres great ppl there working at camperdown, alot of them is friendly, but this manager they have is shocking. Also, just the other day, i saw another customer who bought a maton guitar came back to the store to exchange a case because it have marks over it, and they did the exchange smoothly, and politely as well by saying sorry and so on. So as obvious, i knew the manager have a bad day and tried to pick on me, but wrong person.
