  • where i can find ps3 iso game?

  • You can use disk utility

  • @R3SISTANCE000 Yeah, i know... this video is really old... i didn't even know most things about a mac back then... i may make an update soon on how to use disk utility.

  • get on with it

  • I got the Fat Model of the PS2, I dont have any hacks or anything on it.

So my question is: Is this enough to run the burned game properly without any problems?

Or do i need a Modchip or something like that?

  • @MoodieDuck you don't need a mod chip. but you do need to use a slider that will allow you to pull out the disk tray while its on and the game is running. you will also need Swap Magic. look those up on youtube. I'm sure you get instructional videos.

  • @version147 that would be awesome

  • wen i make it a toast image can i use that image for pcsx2 kuz it only reads isos

  • @hatchetman664 no, you will have to convert it to iso. If you are on pc, then you can just use imgburn. (I'm not sure about mac though)... Im sure there is a iso ripping software out there.

  • what about dvd+R???

  • @graffitimike1 it works sometimes. The default disks that ps2 reads are dvd -r disks. So using +r may work, but it will more likely mess up your ps2... but more or less... it will probably work... (but maybe not)

  • How is it played? I put it in my ps3, And it only shows it in the music, Video, And so on sections, Yet not in the game section.

  • @TheEnglishAtheist1 you are required to have a modded ps2 to play these games. I'm not sure if modded ps3's will work.

  • Can I burn a xbox 360 game into a mac?then can I play them on mac?

  • @version147 no. :(

  • @thaddadian Does this require Swap Magic???

  • @AngelsDemonsRejoice or you could use free mcboot & ESR disc patcher (that's how i play my backups)

  • @chaos3two Thanks a lot bro

  • @AngelsDemonsRejoice happy to help =]

  • You can just install the game to your hard drive?

  • @gibsonlespaul97 the mac hardrive??? no.... because its not a ps2.

  • with the game you used as the example for this video, when tested on your ps2, did it come out in all color? Or did it come out in black & white?

  • @SasukeUchiha3332008 color...

  • @thaddadian a game of mine came out in black and white when I tried to do this process (however when I did it with a final fantasy X iso, it came out in complete color.)

  • ...

  • would this work for other gaming systems as well? or just ps2

  • @JimmyPage97 i dont know...

  • normalize your audio track so i dont have to turn my speakers all the way up just to hear you

  • haha its not cd or dvd minus r. i means dvd recordable or cd recordable. thats just a dash.

  • @nschuel haha... ya learn some'n new every day... and that was something i just learned for today... haha

  • @nschuel but then what about the DVD +R what is that???

  • @thaddadian actually kind of weird. they are two different formats but actually no real difference. dvd-r are approved by the dvd forum. which was founded by companies like Mitsubishi and Hitachi. dvd+r is approved by the dvd+rw alliance. and supported by phillips and jp. sony belongs to both. thats the most i know its kind of confusing, but in the long run they but are basically the same thing. they both mean either dvd recordable or dvd rewritable. same for cd-r or cd-rw. or dvd+r or dvd+rw

  • @nschuel so the - and the + doesnt make a difference? then why is it that some dvd/cd readers only read -r disks and not +r disks...

  • @thaddadian the - work with basically every dvd player you can find. it is much harder to find one that doesnt play them than do. especially newer models. & chances r if it doesnt play dvd-rs then the dvd player doesnt play recordable dvds. old dvd players are going to be less compatible. and the dvd+r discs is an attempt by the dvd+rw alliance to make a recordable dvd that is even more compatible playing on dvd players than the dvd-rs. but so far they are no further ahead than the dvd-r.

  • why does it tell me cd-rom xa or audio tracks can not be writtien on dvd

  • @pillsbury418 i dont know... but i do know that you can only use "cd -r" and "dvd -r" for your disk... and you must burn it in the copy section...

what are you trying to burn to the disK???

  • @thaddadian mabe its because i didnt burn it in the copy section and im using a dvd-r

  • @thaddadian this what im using, Im using toast titanium a dvd-r and the toast file i copied from the original disc and burned it to the dvd-r and still no

  • @pillsbury418 make sure you burn it in the copy section... if it still doesnt work after trying that, then i dont know what to do to help... sorry... :(

  • i dont hav the Toast Titanium 10 so can you FUCKIN HELP ME

  • @123RiderGhost look in the description......

  • does this really work can i really play ps2 games on my mac will it mess my mac up

  • @bigrayray101 .... ummm... this video does not even talk about that at all... i dont even know what you are talking about... this video only teaches you how to burn ps2 games to a disk... it does not teach you how to play ps2 games on your mac... even though that may be posible...

  • does it work with ps3 games

  • @TH3P4ND4z no.

  • when i downloaded toast titanium what pin do i neeed

  • @wankster567 pin?

  • do you know how to covert a .dmg file to .toast file using toast

or any other program... i alos have a mac so yahh.. if you could help that would be great

  • @sickdick831 the only way i know how to do that is to burn the .dmg to a disk, then rip the disk to a .toast...

  • thank you , thank you , thank you :D

    it working

  • Is there any way you can rip the PS2 game from the disk and them make it in to an ISO that would work for the emulator?

  • yup its in copy section:( dvd-.2x...

  • have a chipped ps2,when i burn using alcholoc 120 on windows works fine, but on toast titanium 10 doesnt

  • @ninjadada666 are you burning it in the "Copy" section or "Data"... you have to go to the Copy section and then Image File... then burn it to a dvd -r.... it should work... if it doesn't, then i dont i know what to do...

  • doesnt work

  • @ninjadada666 it seems to be working fine for me and other people... tell me why its not working, i may be able to help you...

  • yeah can you talk next time you make that have no clue whats goin on

  • @Forestblade I'm sorry, but I can't read a sentence that is grammatically incorrect. So next time, don't call me stupid when you yourself don't even know how to write.

  • @thaddadian sorry was really tired was asking if you could explain what you were doing but then i listened to it all so sorry bout that

  • I just bought a whole pack of DVD + R cds and after reading this i was like HOLY **** WHAT DID I DO. Then after what you said toCtrYourOwnMind it gave me hope :3

I do not know what your talking about the PS2 Year... and i think its the flat ones o-O 3.0.1 I guess.

  • @GungpaeIsKorean forget about the year thing... it may work.... good luck!

  • @thaddadian Naw it doesnt, same error about inserting a Playstation or a Playstation 2 format disk...

  • @GungpaeIsKorean It will always say that unless you use some kind of modchip or swap magic (what use)... read the description for more info...

  • @thaddadian man i dun wanna get swap magic T-T

  • @GungpaeIsKorean your gonna need it if you want to play burned games... you will also have to soft mod your ps2

  • dvd+r don't work ?

  • @CtrlYourOwnMind it may or may not work, depending on your ps2 year... and which kind it is... it may for you, and it may not for you... i'd rather risk wasting time burning something tht doesnt work...... it you dont mind wasting a couple of dvds, then go ahead and try it. but then again, it may not work.

  • @GTAMenn2 ummm i know that... but the truth is that the faster you burn a cd, the more bad quality you get, the slower you burn a cd/dvd the better quality you get.... and im not just saying that... i say that out of experience...

    yuh nub...

  • Ohh now i get it.

  • well yea thxz .. But my question actually was is this a Mac but the laptop?

  • @Warkiddx3 I am using a macbook 13" aluminum version. this process will work for all types of macs. as long as you have a dvd burner ( the macbook air doesnt have one, but if you have that, you can get one speperatly.) if you have any mac including laptops with a dvd burner you are good to go!

  • Does this work for mac

  • @Warkiddx3 OF OURSE!!!! Im am doing it on a mac...this tutorial teaches you how to do it on a mac.... read the title! yes it works... just read the description and watch the video...

  • Does this work for mac ? please answer. If it does ill suscribe.

  • please help i dont know how to download an iso file

  • @kevinesmez Watch this video: (paste it in your url after the slash)

    watch?v=b7SEpaFnbD4

  • @kevinesmez and if you need any more help on that, type in ps3iso(dot)com [replace (dot) with . ] in the youtube search

  • do you alredy have to have the game to do it

  • uzbekguy1@thaddadian: OK

  • Nice tutorial thank you.

  • Umm

  • whats the video recording program?????

sorry 4 my bad english i'm italian.....

    thanks..

  • @Xcobrasoftair screenflow

  • I didn't understand

  • @uzbekguy1 then i guess thats just to bad for you... 14,000 people understand.... but you dont... that means that you need to pay just a little more attentjion...

  • Can I do this and it will play in a PS3?

  • @rayman31897 no... it wont.... it has to be ps2

  • thanks that was great explaining, so basically i choose "image" and just burn the iso? with X2 speed? and it will Auto-mount the image for ps2 to understand? my DVD-R has 4G space and my iso game is like 2G, sry for my english.

  • yes it should work... remember that you need a modded ps2 with some way of playing burnt games... (for example: swap magic....) i use swap magic and its perfect... the ps2 will not read burnt games all by its self... it NEEDS some kind of program.

  • hmm is Stuffit Expander a must? i mean cant toast 10 read the iso and burn it to a dvd and it should be rdy to play? my ps2 has swap magic, and i have a 2G iso that is rdy, i tried to burn it directly to the dvd but the ps2 didnt open the cd.

  • the only reason you need stuffit expander is if you have downloaded parts of the game from a website... then to merge those parts, you need stuffit expander....but for burning the iso, you dont need it...

  • cani use toast 8?

  • 0:18 ... the annotation... read it...

  • Lol it's WORM

  • ???

  • I have burn the .iso one, but when i insert the dvd to the ps2 it is unreadable...

  • READ THE DESCRIPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you need swap magic or some kind of disk playing divice or modchip or somthing to play them... burnt disks will not work unless you have modded your ps2 (or used the fliptop cover) (i reccomend buying swap magic.) link is in the description

  • hi i have a question, so if i have download the games and the name is for example tekken.iso then i need to expand it with stuff expander first? or i just need to burn it like what you show on your video??

  • if you read the written tutorial... you would know the answer to that question... you have to extract it into the iso... you CANT burn rar files to a dvd and play them... it has to be an iso... for more details... READ THE DESCRIPTION!

  • is that free

  • no.... unless you get it illegally, but i dont recommend it.... sorry about that...

  • thanks for sharing that! (at least I only wasted 1 dvd-r before i saw your post :)

  • @jennydisini no prob... im glad to help you. :)

  • are you extracting the iso file?

because im trying to extract the iso file from a xbox360 disk

  • yes i am..... but i dont know how to burn 360 games... only ps2 and ps1

  • sweet backround can i have the link??

  • @MrApplehelper read the description... its already there...

  • hey thaddadian how did you get Adobe Acrobat

  • @lartex22 a friend gave it to me :)

  • Dude can i do this on toast 8??

  • @JohnGetonTop if it has the ability to burn iso files, using the copy section, then YES... if it doesnt have the copy section, then there must be another way... you definately can do this on toast 8!

  • Thank MAN youre the BeST

    But 1 BIG mistake

    Toast Tatanim 9 also works

  • @juozasafrika When did i say it didn't work???... i have comments bellow saying that it works just as well.... all of the toast programs from 6 and up work... but i guess i should mention that they all work... and maybe put a download link for the other ones... Thanks...

  • THANKS!

    IT WORKS

    5/5

  • can i burn ps1 games and play them on my ps2 using this process?

  • @ryanpuno Yes... as long as you know how to play burnt games your fine... yes again... they work... :)

  • would this also work for a navigation...

for example if you have the file of it and want to burn it on the cd?

  • im sorry... but i dont know what you mean by navigation...

im not sure what im about to say will help... but here goes... Toast 10 is a very sophisticated program with the ability of basically burning Anything... How do i do it??? i dont know... all this video teaches is how to burn ps2 games... (since i didnt know what you ment, can you ask me again, but with more detail... thanks...

  • i mean like a gps for your car (sorry i'm german)

    it's a .ccp file

  • ya... i dont know... sorry...

  • will this work for ps3 games?

  • @PWangsterTV , i dont have a ps3... so i don't know... maybe.... but it probably works with a different kind of disk... like blue-ray or something... i dont really know.

  • will this work for ps1 games? anyone tried?

  • it will work. (read the comments below for more info)

  • i have a weird question i downloaded a few games and when i extract the multiple rar files instead of them extracting to an iso image each file i extract becomes its own iso image any one have any advice..? oh and i have a mac with tiger

  • make sure all of the .rar files are in the same folder. if they are, then make sure that you extract the FIRST .rar file. the one that says ".part1"" or something like that. if it doesnt work after that, then i dont know what else... may....be..... its because you are running tiger... maybe... i dont think that is the problem though... im sorry if i wasnt able to help you. good luck.

  • alrighty i figured it out i was using a program called the unarchiver to extract my original 7zip file. but once i extracted the original; 7zip file it broke it off inot 20 or so rar files. my problem was that i used the unarchiver to extract the individual rar files wich for some reason would make each one its own iso... i fixed it by using ez 7zip to extract the inital file then i used unrar x on the rar files and that worked to create one iso file or bin cue what have you.

  • When I try to burn ps1 games there is af .cue and a .bin file for the game....

    Which one shall I choose??

Does anyone know how to burn ps1 games with Toast titanium??

  • it should be the cue file... right click on the cue file then go to more then go to toast it.

  • u said only dvd-r or cd-r will work. this is what my disk says:

    16x DVD+R 4.7GB 120 MIN MULTI-PURPOSE

    will it work?

  • your disk is a DVD +R... sooo... it may work... i said to use -R because that is what the real ps2 games are made from. ps2's read -R's better than +R's because Ps2's were built like that.

  • soooo it might work. give it a try, unless you dont want to waste a disk. if you are going to be burning many games, then i would use -R, because you can ruin your ps2 by using +R's. this is becuase you are forcing it to play something that it was not ment for. you can ruin the driver. My advice is to get the same disk you have EXCEPT with a "-" instead of a "+".

  • yes that will work

  • Thanks for the help man, but the video could have easily been half as long, if you didn't chat crap for half of it.

  • I dont mean to be a dik but you hav like 5 comments !!!!!

  • What does that even mean?

  • does this work for a ps1 game?

  • thanks so much

  • No problem i got it. thank you. this vid was very helpful.

  • I try using an iso file and when i click to burn, it says preparing at the bottom but then it hangs. do you know why this might be?

  • i dont know... what do you mean by hang... does that mean like nothing is happening.. lagging... freezing... if so i dont dont know... sorry...

  • if u burn the ps2 games on le mac, will u still be able to play dem on the ps2 console??

  • Yes... lol i removed the other one because that was my other account, but yes they still will work... why else would i have made this video...

  • dvd+r doesnt work?

  • it may... but 50% of the time it doesn't...

  • ohh..so thats why my ffx-2 does not work..when i started it the only thing that showed is the playstation 2 logo

  • Hey thaddadian!

Great video, one question.. Could you burn a psx .iso the same way? Using the copy function on Toast?

  • yes

  • yo by the way, just out of curiosity, how did u chnage the finder icon colour?

  • i have a whole video on that... if you wanted to know... go ahead and click "More From: thaddadian" ans wahllah...

  • can i burn xbox 360 games the same way to?

  • it is basically the same when it comes to burning the game... but 360 games use DIFFERENT kinds of DISKS. (i think it uses DVD +R DL) but make sure... thats all i can say. (btw dont download torrented 360 games!) i got caught once.. dont do it... you can go to jail!

  • Good job bro, I like your desktop background too.

  • i tried doing it and the ps2 said please insert ps2 format disc, i have a mod chip, but maybe it was a bad torrent that i downloaded the game from, i'm gonna try copying my game n see if it works, trying to make a duplicate of battlefield 2 modern combat

  • nvm I put a different DVD in and it aloud me to do x2

  • my titanium only has the option to burn at x4 to x16????

HELP!!! i'll see if it works though

  • I burned a ps2 game.. but when i put it in it says wrong format

  • ps2s dont read burnt games unless you use some kind of modchip or swap magic... i use swap magic.... it works fine... its like $20 get it... its good.... the link is in the description...

  • talk a little fast there dude

  • what all do i need to download the games? like do i need winwar, achlohol 120, or what

  • the unarchiver.

  • stuffit expander or the unarchiver. you can find them both at macupdate

  • whats the point just making back ups

  • can i use dvd - rw

  • no...

  • so i can either use cd or dvd - r right?

  • correct!

  • where do you get Swap Magic?

  • read the description

  • how do let ur ps2 read ps2 burned games then??

  • Hello.

why do i need Ps2-chip or Modded Ps2?

  • Because ps2's werent made to read burnt games...

  • what if the disc is scratched? can I use the "use disc recovery" checkbox successfully?

  • no matter what you do... you HAVE TO have a modded ps2... (which means have swap magic). Your ps2 wont read a burnt game by itself...

  • no, i know, and i actually use cogswap. my question is, my original/official copy of the game is slightly scratched. When i use disc copy in toast, it tells me that it is scratched and to check the "use disc recovery" to try to fill in the blanks. I don't know if it is supposed to work, but for me, it did. therefore i have solved my question.
