  • Fantastic video! : )

  • how much to fly a 421 per hour ?

  • Damn - your trip ended 2 soon.

    THose clouds looked breathtaking

    Thanxs for the ride

  • damn it is so beautiful!! thanks for post!

  • Freeeeeeeeeedoooooooooom !!!! I haven't any other words !!!!! I love this feeling ....... so many time... so many meeters AGL ... wow... Great job man !!!! ;-)

  • Amazing, great video, thanks for sharing!

  • 1:50 was that scary? looks like quite a bit of ice for such a short time.

  • No it was not:-) It was just a small cumulus cloud between FL 100-140, the instability layer was very thin. So despite it was ising in the cloud, the flight through it lasted only 15-20 seconds. So nothing to be scared of:-)

  • thanks. Can you tell I only have 200 hours?

  • Great video and great airplane ;)

  • Nice flying

  • Nice video and nice landing captain! =)

  • Hey, at 0:42, did you forget to lock the left fuel cap?

  • Nope:-) It´s the stamp we have got I thing at Augsburg Airport from the BP staff. The stamp states "AVGAS 100LL" :-)

  • Great video, will be flying to Oshkosh this weekend in one and am really looking fwd to it!!! Thanks for the video, and Happy Landings!!

  • From a fellow 421 flyer all I can say is that the 421 is an outstanding aircraft and you have done a nice job of capturing the feeling of flying this bird in your video, well done.

  • Very very nice video!

  • Beautiful... Thanks for sharing. You are the man!

  • Nice landing, you greased it.

  • We used to own two of em'. Greatest Cessna ever. By the way, after checking my fathers log books, I googled their call signs to find out that both had been repainted and had the avionics upgraded and now are for sale.

  • On Cessna 421, you have only electric window heat on the LH seat, no de-ice or anti ice on the FO seat. But the ice usually goes away before commencing the approach - by sublimation or just simply melts in higher air tempreatures:-)

  • Beautifull footage man! I nvy you, you get to fly way above all the caos of most air traffic and geographical obstructions with only those enormous cumulus 4 friends :). Yet you have less responsibility than a 747 captain, that is the best sort of freedom in the air that I can realistically imagine! Btw how do you get rid of the windsheild ice? I know how wing de-icing boots work, and carbi de-icing, but what 4 the windsheild, does the cabin heat simply take care of it?
