  • Good job man, but...does it worth to spend 400 €?

  • Thanks man. This video actually made me buy a Bass Murf. So it did sell one.

  • Love the string sample from I Monster's Who Is she. Great song and fantastic album.

  • Hi,

I havent heard the song or the band. Ill check them out. The strings are taken from a Mellotron MK II from the rhythms and fills section...so they might have used a mellotron ?

    Thanks for watching !

  • wow that is really wild check out the song.. its quite possible they used the same sample. at least it sounded extremely similar. Anyway thanks for getting back to me.

  • I downloaded the song but I couldnt really pick it out...Ill listen again...this time with headphones.

And I always get back to people. This communication is a lot more rewarding than my little videos...

  • I found the video and it really makes sense...! It is the MK II moving strings but it isnt on the album though...

  • Nice I see your using the RC-20 I'm having fun with the RC-50 great machine.

  • Do you use the rc-50 live ?

  • Yeah I'm workin on it, I have a show I'm getting ready for and the possibilities of this beast is endless, I created a song on it just as a workshop lesson for myself and now its gona be a song for live. what i really love about the thing is that whatever I do on it i can save and put in Logic later and finish up a song in post. I get better at it each day, its fun. When I'm really comfortable I'm gona post something on YouTube.

  • Really comfortable on youtube...you should have told me earlier...

My wife is really curious about the rc-50 for live usage so drop me a line when your adventures surface on youtube.

  • ....LOL yeah I know its only YouTube right....lol. Yeah sure will do, you could subscribe and you'll at lest have updates to what I do, but sure I be please to let you know, peace.

  • Hey can you connect a Bass to the moogerfooger?

Using it as a bass effect pedal

Haha sorry maybe it's a stupid question but I'm thinking on buying it and passing it thorugh it

  • Yeah, it takes the same cable that you would plug your amp to your bass with.

  • All the moogerfoogers work great with bass....! The bass murf is designed for lower frequencies...! Have fun !

  • Frusciante uses like ALL the moog pedals

  • Well I dont blame him...I use all of my moog pedals...!

  • youre a douche

  • ...?

  • ...!

  • You are the sunshine of my life.

  • :o)# Nice "String Section Remix" sound.

  • Yeah...All string sections will sound like this....in the future.

  • Who needs a sampler when a mellotron and some filters can sound this delicious.

  • Noone needs a sampler.. Everyone needs a echo unit a distortion pedal and a sm-57.

  • Well then im set for life!

  • Thats great ! You are set and ready to go...when is the release party and where ?

  • That sounds awesome. I really dig the sounds the mellotron produces. it's a shame these days with the digital keyboards and sampling boxes these days , that a lot of musicians have forgotton this piece of wicked technology that has been present on so many kick ass albums.

  • Well...I think there is room for everything, really. The Mellotron is without doubt one of the instruments that I use the most in the studio. But that is just my personal opinion...I have worked with bands who were very disappointed with the Mellotron because they felt it didn't sound like real strings...But most bands fall head over heels in love with it.
