He ran far to the right of Kay Bailey Hutchinson, a very conservative ex-senator and is no less God-smacked and exteme than Bachmann, He encouraged his constituents to Pray for Rain at the begiining of the drought, and sine then it has expanded still futher, to the point of crisis.
