  • This is just amazing, how huge their enclosures are! And how you guys put meant in the rhino, almost like a real hunt! nice to see them happy and almost still wild. In zoos it's so sad, they're pacing around or just sitting there, clearly depressed and bored. Clearly just there for people to look at. It's selfish. I love what you guys are doing!

  • what type of grass did you put in the rhino

  • @feartheshortone I think it was saw-grass :)

  • sorry if this question has already been asked, but how does BCR clean up the enrichment after the cats are done?

  • @kapez125 It's a good question, we never enter the enclosures with the cats, but all our enclosures have two sections so we can switch them into the other section close the door and safely enter and remove enrichment leftovers or perform any maintenance before letting them back out :)

  • @BigCatRescue thanks so much for replying, i watch BCR everyday :)

  • God bless BCR staffs!

  • 18 Rhinos watched this video and complained.

  • Tigers: natural enemy of the pinata.

  • next video, Paper tiger vs Rhino

  • @rax7 a real rhino would fuck a siberan tiger

  • This video espouses animal cruelty! I'm reporting it to PETA!

    Poor rhino...

  • obese tigers

  • there is one garfield tiger

  • OmG look at the size of that TIGER shere khan , he is twice bigger then china doll

  • i love cats AND there big relatives!!i have three cats.

  • The tiger looks like a bigger version of my cat :D

  • *ahem* Aren't rhinos endagered, too? ;)

  • Have you guys done any research on "blue" big cats? Like tigers? They have the appearance of being gray-ish. I wanted to know if that kind of coloration is produced the same way as inbreeding, or if it's an actual possibility or mutation in the genes?

  • @dragonsissiy Blue big cats don't exist :)

  • dang i didnt relize how big the Siberian tigers are.........

  • Stupid tigers.

  • first off, if this were real, it could be 5 tigers and im sure the rhino would still gore the piss out of atleast 2 or 3 of em.

  • I love how the bigger Tiger kinda juss gave up a long time ago while the other one kept going at it. lol

  • wow, tigers can bite through cardboard. no ups truck is safe

  • is there anyway to keep boxes safe from cats? big or small. :-)

  • Oh the Horror! :-)

  • get those fake rhinos

  • animal ABUSE!

  • @iGameiBall1 how is this animal abuse?

  • @asgher786 ..kidding

  • @iGameiBall1 oh ok

  • May I ask,is there any Black Tigers in this world?

  • @GTAgamesfans No, there have been reports but the images of killed specimens I have seen are all tigers just with extra wide black stripes which gives the appearance of a black tiger from a distance.

  • creative!!!

  • great to looking

  • visiting in the Caribbean and read an article about LionFish, they say it is an invasive species. they petition to put it on the menu in restaurants to literally 'eat it' into distinction? NO different than their plan for animals.

  • You all are so good to these creatures!

  • Of course the Tigers drunk the beer first then after they had a few too drink mistaked the boxes for a Rhino.

  • LoL... Tiger ripped the rhino head off and was like... "WTF, this was too easy!"

  • this is wonderful!

  • To the 5 people who disliked this video.. don't worry, no rhinos were actually harmed during the making of this video. :)

  • So good to see a rhino being defeated !

  • hi i was wondering how would i be able to get a job doing this type of work with any wild animal?

  • @oseman91 You need to research what different organizations require - qualifications and experience etc..

  • Good job making that rhino! This summer I might go on vacation and I really wanna go to Florida just so i can come to Big Cat Rescue

  • @Jaclyn11495 Thanks! Hope you can visit!

  • the amazonian carboard rhino is a very rare and endangered animal, for only 999$ you can give one of this creatures a home, please, your help counts

  • This just makes them look adorable.

  • They´re magnificent animals.

  • Good idea! ha ha...

  • Do area schools ever get involved to help Big Cat Rescue? I'm thinking children would love making cardboard anything.

  • @Gnuso77 Not yet, but the summer campers often make models for the cats to destroy, we just have to make sure that there is nothing in the cardboard like staples etc that could cause harm to the cats so we like to make them ourselves :)

  • 5 people are riho fans HAHAHAHAHA

  • Thanks

  • in the wild tigers sometimes attack subadult rhinos and calves

  • Nice, good exercise and stimulation, they really enjoyed that game.

  • I want to see them against a live animal. Obviously not a rhino but a deer would be perfect.

  • @Hermyoni33 We only feed out live animals to our rehab bobcats, who are returned to the wild.

  • I'd like to know if big cats play with box / bag as do small ones....

  • @XRayden Yep, definitely, we even made a video big cats vs boxes, check it out!

  • Wow, Shere Khan is one BIG kitty!!!!!

  • @TheMonthofMayo

maybe they cab, but they love this "rhino" :)

in the wild, they will only attak if the rhino is weak or very old, injuried or something like this

  • big cat r. whats the strongest cat there?what do you think?

  • @FiReMaStEr1620 Probably Shere Khan, he is the largest :)

  • @BigCatRescue no wonder!? see lion fans tiger is stronger!!!!!!HHAAHHAA!!!

  • @BigCatRescue see lion fans you are wrong first nat geo now the big cat r. and lion fan is only animal planet!!!!

  • Bravo, Shere and China! Rhinos beware! These big cats are beautiful.

  • Gostamos dos pequenos Felinos, e por isso conhecemos e reconhecemos os maiores, Parabéns pela Iniciativa, Videos e Canal.

  • Is it also a way to preserve their hunting instinct ?

  • @Meghann25 cats never lose their hunting instinct

  • @Meghann25 They always have their hunting instinct, the reason we do this is to give them something to do, even though they have 1 acre, a lake to swim in and a great diet they are still locked in a cage 24/7 sow try and do whatever we can :)

  • Wow they play like a house cat. I guess that is why people make the mistake of thinking that they are.

  • They're so beautiful! How much water do a tiger drink a day? (:

  • @BoneBeast It depends right now in winter they drink very little.

  • THERE SHALL BE NO MERCY!

  • 750lb tiger - how do they get so heavy..is it their muscles or bones that are so heavy. also try and put a rough material for the tiger to tear through like leather. For the tiger's exercise and strength try and make them pull 500lbs weight that is filled with meat.

  • @mclarenf45 it's the muscle, for sure.

  • @ncfwhitetigress they r like natural body builders, in the wild they can pull a 1 ton buffalo by themselves.

  • @mclarenf45 yup

  • @ncfwhitetigress Not really.

  • @FrozenHeart05 what?

  • CHINA for the win!

  • Hmm... some of those appear to be beer boxes. I assume that the tigers get the boxes and the volunteers get the beer? ;)

  • @ironychan Nope, they were paper towel boxes :) Not very exciting!

  • hey what happened to tony the tiger in that high way cage?

  • @chaosrave Unfortunately the Louisiana FWC gave the permit to Tony's owner, condemning Tony to live at the truck stop for another year :(

  • "Is there anymore? Ahhh well, I'll just play with it"

  • do you guys just use tape to put these "animals" together?

  • @dehbee We wish it were that easy! We have to use child glue instead, we don't want to risk the cats eating the tape and causing a blockage etc...

  • Hahaha !! the rino is a gonner !! ♥

  • These tigers are too fat!

  • Those are some happy fat tigers!

  • Kudos to the toy designer!

Has BCR tried hanging-type toys in the past, like tether-balls, etc.?

  • @nameofthepen Thanks, yes we have lots of balls that hang so the cats can bat them around :)

  • @doh1959 - I thought you gave up trolling?

  • Rhino. Yum!!! :)

  • Is the paint on the rhino bad for them to chew on?

  • @oZePhYeRx No it's all non toxic and they don't really ingest it :)

  • I want to be in this orginazation! Looks enriching, and awfully entertaining!

  • I hope the paint on the rhino is non-toxic?

  • @whiskerchild It's toxic. It's a mixture of paint and cyanide. The only way to be assured they will cause death to the tigers via cardiac arrest.

  • @SdotPdotGhost

Ha ha ha ha - you have my type of humor

  • @whiskerchild Of course! :)

  • Cardboard is to tiger as tissue paper is to human!

  • lool this is so cute yet a brillaint idea

  • oh poor rhino....such cute kitties....

  • Such sweet "kitties!" They have it so good.

  • Shere Khan is neutered to prevent any breeding between Khan and China Doll. Big Cat Rescue does not do any breeding. There are way too many tigers in captivity to begin with.

  • yo are you allowed to put an actual deer in there or sumthing?

  • @avatarfan4lyfe We give them whole rabbits once a week, but nothing as large as a deer.

  • The rhino didn't even put up a fight! But the cats sure didn't mind. :D

  • Three losers dislike this video? lol they must have a fat head.

This video is so funny and entertaining! Thank you BCR.

By the way Shere Khan is a boy right? How come he doesn't have balls?!

  • @AdvertChild98 Shere Khan is neutered to prevent any breeding between Khan and China Doll. Big Cat Rescue does not do any breeding. There are way too many tigers in captivity to begin with.

  • @AmayachiChiyotora yeah I knew they put something in there like that. : ) I think it could be cat nip they use it all the time.

  • wow the tiger at 1:51 eating the grass is huge!

  • @Rasberryrain82 Shere Khan is around 750lbs !!!

  • @BigCatRescue wow! thats awesome. he's a big guy all right! :P

  • @metamorphicmuse yeah I know that but they also put some sort of grass in it

  • @ShaytardFan312 : Oops! My bad. I didn't notice that the 1st time, but thanks for pointing it out. I don't think it was catnip though. I think the grass was just grass, for the purpose of feeding the tigers a balanced meal. Wild catnip looks completely different. It would be nice if they would explain it in the information box, or narrate it during the video.

  • @metamorphicmuse Correct, it was just long grass for the tigers to search through to get to the chunks of red meat, we did add catnip in there as well! :)

  • @BigCatRescue : Thanks for the clarification and the response video " Do TIGERS Like Catnip??". However, I was only partially correct, as there was catnip in there. Sneaky, sneaky! =^..^=

  • Hehe...The "Rhino" didn't survive for long!

    Excellent video! =)

  • sorry about me saying it 2 times didn't show up at first : p

  • @BigCatRescue Was that catnip inside of it?

  • @ShaytardFan312: No Sweetie, they put raw meat inside of it. =^..^=

  • @metamorphicmuse they also put a plant in there

  • @ShaytardFan312 it was just long grass for the tigers to search through to get to the chunks of red meat, we did add catnip in there as well! :)

  • @BigCatRescue was that cat nip inside of it?

  • I like the water-break scene. He drink water and run back to the rhino. He really enjoys this game like children. :)

  • DESTROY O:

  • Haha I bet this project was just as enriching for the keepers as well as the cats!

  • They are so cute. lol they expected more meat on that one.

  • you guys walk in there and leave those things for them?

  • @amirsh91 Yes, we can lock them into the second section of their enclosure then safely enter to place enrichment item, do maintenance, pick up poop etc.. then we can pull the sliding door up and let them into the main larger area :)

  • This reminds me of my kitten and her battles with the rhino (a sock with cat nip) I made it for her when she was little and hid under the fridge and wouldn't come out. She hasn't stopped playing with it for a single day and every time I come home she grabs her sock/rhino and runs up the stairs jumps on the couch and lays to sleep next to me with her sock right beside her. I love my cat, she's so damn cute :)

  • Gutting the kill.

  • Truly awesome animals! Any wonder why I love tigers?

  • Animal enrichment. This is why I love BigCatRescue!

  • Aw Big kitties! *****

  • I think they know what that thing is. :p

I only see this are the same thing with christmas catnip video. :p

  • Shoulda put some catnip on the rhino

  • @Twisteddreamer78 We put some inside :)

  • @doh1959 well that's the first time I've heard that definition used for "faggot". Apparently "faggot" now means "cardboard box".

By the way, it's called punctuation. Might want to try using it so you don't look like a complete tool next time.

  • You all are amazing for taking care of these animals. God Bless <3

  • You guys at BCR, are the best, you do a wonderful job, congratulations :)

  • How do come up on these ideas for them?

  • @FruittisMaris They like just regular cardboard boxes so anything the more resembles and animal the better, it just takes time to make these models....

  • Vicious kitties! :)

  • it look like they are eating the rhino in real life......

  • Haha that was a nice gesture :-) They looked like they really enjoyed the toy

  • @doh1959 they won't be reintroduced to the wild since they were never taught to hunt for themselves. and besides that i think they can tell a live animal from cardboard :/

  • in which country is tiger eating legal? ppl say tiger meat is delicious

  • What grass is that?

  • @Keeneyes4utube It was just regular grass with added catnip and chunks of red meat for them to find :)

  • isaw you guys on animal planet!

  • Tigers are cats, they do cat things.

  • these rhino are less bony then wild ones :p

  • @SpikeTiger0 Yeah, slightly more easy to kill also :)

  • Yay 10th comment :D

  • a question: The grass inside rhino was catnip?

  • Lol :D

  • Fake rhino is one thing but actual rhino is notjing to sneeze at.

  • Too cute!
