@Harakai100 Just so you know bullpup is a style not an entirely different gun. It's a bullpup style rifle as opposed to a regular style rifle. The fact that its bullpup doesn't change that it is a rifle.

A bullpup is a rifle with the magazine behind the triger, which offers a longer barrel without having to increase the length of the gun, and therefore increasing accuracy.

MOSFETs are pretty common... I don't know if you're new to airsoft, but MOSFETs are typically used when using LiPo batteries to increase current flow and decrease wear on the trigger contacts. Some (the more expensive ones) have a burst fire feature which you can program how many shots you want to fire on burst mode. There are many other advantages to MOSFETs that I will not get into. Hope this helps. :)

hey that is one of the rods that pushes the hop up cover back.... there is one for either side... it attaches to the charging rod... BTW the flash hider has a hex nut that keeps it from unscrewing while your playing...

Have you had any magwell or feeding issues? I got one from the airsoftgi boneyard for 50 bucks and I really want to fix it. Plus my tech is already pissed cuz I brought him 3 broken guns in about a month so I was looking to do it myself. I've taken it apart and tried to fix it but bbs still just sit in the chamber.

@walkITtoTOWN downgrade the spring, they only accept 380-390 using .2g bbs if it's like 380-390 using .25 they will want it even lower. only thing you can do is downgrade.

@walkITtoTOWN 0.25 will lower the fps but the energy will still be the same. Also, some competitions give you .2g bbs for testing so that you can't tamper with the results.

You'll have to open the gearbox and change the spring.

this is supposed to be a copy of the real steel Steyr AUG A3. But at closer look, they just used the AUG A2 front assembly and added quad rails on the front. if you look at the real steel version you can clearly see the difference especially the top rails.

you should also purchase a bipod for it since you are making it sniper like and then get a scope riser and get a 3x9 variable zoom scope if you want it to look like a sniper. other wise i would suggest just a foregrip with a 2x zoom red dot

(2 of 2) If you are set on getting this gun, don't plan on putting a bipod, under-barrel grenade launcher, or anything but a foregrip under the gun. Doing so will make the weight absoutely unbearable. Mine weighed in at 13 pounds with my attachments. Comfortable sling is a MUST. Do not, under any condition, use the base sling with this gun, or any other 2 point sling. Not comfortable, not strong enough.

The mosfet chip is nothing to praise. It is the base version, nothing better than a fuse.

I personally own this gun, and I do not recommend buying it unless you intend on putting alot of money into it. You WILL need a new battery (I suggest the 9.6 nimh 2300mah nunchuck battery) and a new inner barrel. You will also need a scope, as the sites it comes with are no better than that of a pistol. It is also EXTREMELY heavy. Don't be a dumbass and figure "I can carry any weight in the woods". You can't. Not over 2 hours. (1 of 2)

@TaZ101SAGA Yes and no. No other company (to my knowledge) produces the AUGA3. However, they produce kits to change your A2 into an A3. However, those kits (without buying the gun) are extremely expensive.

@masteircheef The smart charger I have has two rates of charging to choose from and it does "stop" when the battery if fully charged. It actually starts to trickle charge instead of stopping so the battery will not be damaged and it will keep its charge if you let it sit. Smart charges are a very good investment.
