Cause Jane is very sensitive about his family's death by Red John, which haunts him constantly. Grace realized she opened a fresh wound by what she said; she basically made Jane feels even more guilty...

The thing is, Jane and Van Pelt seem to be very similar in their veiws about their beliefs, that they want to be right, and want other people to see as they do. And Grace had something horrible in her past that makes her belive, where as Jane has something that makes him not belive.

I think Grace is really to hard with Jane! He has a behavior which can be annoying, he turns everything to ridicule, but I think this is a shell that allows him not to crack in front of others. At the end we see he is on the verge of tears, he looked so fragile. It literally breaks my heart!

It is so sweet how when Grace gets ticked at Patrick, Rigsby wished he ha not said anything can't wait for the next episode on the 31 cuz Grace and Rigsby finally kiss. The funny thing was is that it was the thing Rigsby wanted to do most cause Jane had asked him when he was hypnotized or something and Jane told him to do what he wanted to do most and Grace walked by and he got up and kissed her!!!!!
