Though, I think Rhodes' death may top that, if nothing more than the line he says as he's being torn apart. "CHOKE ON EM! CHOKE ON EM!" Love Day of the Dead.

this is THE best zombie movie ever made! why? cause it felt so real, you can see what isolation can do to a person, knowing that there is no hope! and you could be the LAST ONES LEFT ON EARTH! and this one had the most terrifying zombies i have seen. I love the performance of everyone in this movie, from the actors (Lori Cardille, Terry Alexander, Joe Pilato and the rest) to the people behind the camera, like Tom Savini, Gregory Nicotero (that guy gets around A LOT, check out his wikipedia article!) and the camera crew, who managed to get the job done, despite the enviroment fucking up their equipment.

The re-make wasn't even close. I love this "Day" for it's gore, filthy language, and "Bub". I never thought I would be rooting for the zombies. Great score. I don't think you'll ever see another zombie film like this again.

Really great soundtrack, the best from the series of films, perhaps as good if not better than Night of the Living dead.

and a great film to match, i love the way that there is a lack of zombies, so that when you do see them, its a shock, and quite genuinly scary, more scary than Dawn of the dead, and this soundtrack is one of the reasons.

it fits the underground bunker, edgeness the film carries, when Captain Rhodes tells Steele to shoot sarah, the music build to the tension

I love the 1985 version of Day of the dead. I dont like the remake. The remake is awful. The story line is completley different. In the remake there not in the Millitary facility there in a hostpital. And its not as gory as this one. This is my favorite ouf of all of George A. Romeros work.
