That's really cool that you replied! I just bought this game for a friend based on some reviews and I am excited to play it myself. I do have another question, however. So if the top card does make me change my mind about the face up cards then what? I can put it back to the bottom of the pile and take 2 face up cards? Or keep that card & wait until it's my turn again? I am sure the instructions will tell me when the game arrives but I'm excited after your review & may get this for me too!
@whopua You get 2. Or you can draw one face down, and then see if that changes your mind about any of the face up cards (except a locomotive, which has to be the first pick).
Cheezmaniak . . . you're a tool. Scott's work is great. Helping us gamers better decide on where to spend our time and money, (both are precious commodities). If you're not into board games, why waste your time posting something that benefits no-one or nothing but your ego. Enjoy your day - Cheez. Hope your life gets better..
hey scott- i have a game i'am sure you have never seen-its real , its called pop ball milton bradley wont tell me anything and they have a portion on thier site that shows when games came out.
they cant help me with finding out when it came out . take a look at my vid- plz any information.
I love the fact you review board games. I play contests of this game with my friend including the german version. one point of strategy i would make is that if you spend time blocking other people you are using trains and turns you should use on your routs and it may cost you the game. minding my own business tends to work better for me.
You can pick it up from a game store. Most also sell things like collectable card games and maybe miniatures. Outside of that, there are a lot of online stores that sell Euro type games. One of my favorite is thoughthammer dot com.
About "getting lucky and drawing a wild card as your second". I read in the rule book that if your second blind draw is a wild card you must discard it. Did I read that correctly?
I like this, a review on boardgames, your very friendly, and you explained the game well, so Im looking forward to more reviews. If you can, can you do one on Age of Steam (Original), and Railroad Tycoon anytime soon? I want to compare them with Ticket to Ride, because I'm interested in one of these three. Good review, and keep it up.
Scott! Thanks for this video. :) Just bought this game today!

So during my turn you said if I didn't like any of the face up cards I could draw just one card that's facing down or do I get 2??

Scott does a great job in his videos, but this game looks like chaos when someone kicks a table leg and trains go all over !!

Looks like a fine game that some in my group might enjoy. The thing that keeps me from getting this game is that the theme is so dull. trains? snore.

Ticket to Ride is simple. Railroad Tycoon is much more complex, and Age of Steam is complex and unforgiving.
