friction you say. since when does the amp move??? your not supposed to mount it on the box because the bass will rattle the amp to pieces

@macdaddyd1 Exactly, I ran this setup for quite a while without a single problem, that cheap Scosche amp took everything I threw at it without a single issue

That's just an excuse people will use to explain why their amps aren't working, which in reality it is a bad connection/installer errour, I've seen it many times.

i had those woofers way way back in 2005...hahaha...they pounded aight..now i have 1 4500 12 mtx on my intrepid 96...and on my trailblazer 02 i have a 2000 watt amp with a dc audio level 4 15 subwoofer in a ported box tuned to 30hz...that shit pounds hard...
