did someone count how many times he said "ext4 is faster"? lol. Thx for the video though. Happen to know any more recent benchmarks between ext3 and 4?
i heard which was kinda scary, even the guy who wrote was worried to is that if ext4 forgot to type or write something in the end while doing normal working, whole hd whips clean.. go on wiki...
ext3 file system's max file size is between 16GiB and 64TiB. The maximum file size can vary because a file system's block size can vary arbitrarily among partitions that have been formatted.
To determine the maximum file size, you must first determine your file system's block size. The table below indicates what the maximum file size will be for common block sizes:
epic fail, I got bad sectors, fedora said so. S.M.A.R.T. test passed but bad sectors scares me. bad sectors are scary, because that means HDD may die in the late future.
NTFS is not that bad, its pretty good with large files, I prefer ext3 but Windows only supports NTFS and NTFS is not a bad filesystem although an update would be a good idea.
fail for no adblock

haha there's no bad sectors, it's just a bug

I still use EXT3.
File systems are something really important to consider.
There have been still a couple of bugs concerning data corruption. I will probably switch by Fedora 12.

What about Ext4 vice NTFS

EXT4 blows NTFS out of the water.
there's benchmarks for them too at if you google it.
