cryo works. Even a forged piece can gain from this process as it draws the molecular structure of the atoms tighter making a strong piece even stronger. I believe Sako does this to every rifle barrel they produce.

If anyone is thinking of doing this to a braking system (rotors, pads, drums, shoes) Try it. My family has tried it on two cars and a friend tried it on his. The results are great! Longer life, greater braking power and less brake fade. I am also doing this to my brakes as well as clutch and flywheel.
