Yes, I understand about the power of suggestion and how hypnosis can make people feel pain or not feel pain. But what is less clear to me is why there was no blood on the entry and exit holes where the needle went through. That, I would think, wouldn't be under the control of the mind.

its an old freak show trick. you dont bleed from that spot and you dont feel any thing but a slight pinch
