I noted that "in this chat room we do not use the words bio, biological, or birth. Women who lost babies to adoption are referred to as "moms," 1st moms," or "natural moms." I cannot express in words how happy that makes me. Thank you to whoever gave us permission to do that, Joe! Thanks for giving us some self-respect and for helping me to heal further,...build up my self-esteem. That's how "they" got our children - the 1st moms of yesteryear had no self-esteem, amongst other reasons.

So many young unmarried mothers lost their children to adoption because no helping hand was extended to them. In a more humane society, every mother would be supported to keep her child and no mother would be urged to sign adoption papers. The Secret Adoption Era caused life long family separation and sadness. Thankfully organizations like this, help the healing process. Great work Joe!!!

I like the video. I reunited with my son 4 years ago and it has been wonderful. He is also reunited with his father and all of his siblings. When I was searching, it was great to know about organisations like yours out there. It's important to know you are not alone - support is always appreciated.
