@neyney0001 what you are seeing is the result of having one of the couplers engaged. On newer pipe organs, all the switches and stops utilise electric signals. On older pipe organs, everything was mechanical, so by selecting a coupler, even if your playing on a different manual, keys on another manual will also respond.

@neyney0001 That's the cool thing on instruments like the pipe organ and/or harpsichord. They have what's called a "coupler," which allows you to connect different keyboards, including the organ pedal board, in a combination akin to a grand choir!!! (I believe that's what is called in organ talk BTW)

@PipeOrganistSC Jason.. An Organ is similar like an Keyboard. the reason for 2 or 3 Keyboards is that you can set the registers with different Tone Types. Deeper Tones for the low Frequency voices and higher for melodies or even different high melodies. So you doesn´t need to change the sound Type while you play. Its common that one tone sounds like a trumpet and the other like a tuba. The Pedals you can see as well as a keyboard, but for the feets only.Btw.. very well played. I do that also..

Sorry but it seems that you don't now what you are talking about. Bottom manual is for pipes behind him (backwork), middle manual is for the main organ (main work) uber manual is for the Uperorgan. The uper organ has a disposition mostley of the string and flute type (softer dispasition). In this video he has coupeld the manuals with the backwork. But that doesent meen that you can play the individual works of the organ.
