KOOL....to get rid of the plumb bob just bring up the cheat menu and type "plumbbobtoggle off"....VIOLA!

It could possibly be made custom. If you look OUTSIDE your sims 2 game you can find like 100 sites that has custom sim 2 hair and clothes and skins and pretty much anything you can imagine in the sims 2 but custom. So yeah.
