  • a real nut case!!!! here " whats the point dude?

  • u did a pickups upgrade only to achieve pretty much the same tone... doesnt that avoid the point of changing your pickups?

  • @danophile07 yeah sure. 14k 500T vs. 7k SD seth lover, no difference at all..

  • What kind of pickups did you put on it? And what kind of pickups did you change ?

496R and 500T changed to 57 classic or Burstbuckers or ... ? thanks

  • beatifull guitar, congraturations!!!

  • @angus4401 sorry for my english xd i'am chilean

  • if you search in you tube, dive bomb bigsby, there is a video, he stroke a g, and dive it to e, thank you for answer...but it still works to me with 1 step. i know a little trick to use pull up dive and bending in once, and if you do that, you will get, like 3 steps, if you can do 1.but it is imposible to do with natural harmonics, so , no dive bombs with that.

  • i saw a bigsby going doun one step and a half, when you say heavier, you say harder to move, or heavier in the heavy metal way, so it could go 2 steps, or something like that? and im not satriani so if it could go one step up and one and half down, like the bigsby. it is good to me, if it could go 2, then i should buy it in a second.

  • @sebyrotten

max 1 step. I never saw a bigsby that can do 1 1/2 step...

  • can you close the guitar case over that?

  • hey, i have a question, how much high and low you can go with the lyre vibrola?i know it is not a floyd rose, but i was wondering because i am going to buy my second guitar, and it will have a lyre, if i found it...

  • @sebyrotten You can use it for slight vibrato. When compared to a bigsby it's somewath heavier vibrato.

    I got mine from allparts

  • Sorry about the tuning ...

  • the good thing about flying Vs is that it doesn't matter if you are a lefty or a righty :)

  • @gilley44 Not entirely true: the bridge is slanted. Getting the intonation right when using it as a lefty would be a real b*tch.

  • Sounds pretty nice! How's the sustain after the mod?

By the way, is your pickguard completely straight while it should be a little bit angled at the neck end as well?

I mean that it's only slightly curved to follow the curvature of the body thanks to the screws holding both parts together.

Could be as intended, but I just think it's sloppy. I absolutely love the V however.

  • @Nihilous

Sustain was pretty good, watch my pre-modded video to comare ;-)

The issue you mention on behalf of the pickguard doesn't bother me :)

  • @BamlEffects So yours is the same then? If that's so, I'm satisfied. It's only a niggle and the guitar is simply a beast. It just feels right the first time you hold it.

Also, I haven't found a single dead spot yet!

  • @Nihilous yep ;-)
