  • @NotreDameDuke28 Fuck you kid.

  • @caneswag What did I say?

  • Im an Atheist, but this helps and you sing nice.

  • thanks this helped alot!

  • nice singing

  • can i give a little tip?? when u do the D chord try to put your thumb a little lower (: from a guitarrist to another, with good intentions

  • i find its better to start off with simple songs you may never play otherwise. once you get used to singing and playing in time you can move on to songs with harder guitar parts and songs with different timings.

  • thank you for the help..........been tryin to figure out how to sing and play at the same time for awhile and this really helped

  • i saw jesus last night :P

  • you have a great voice man. keep rockin it

  • omg thats hilarious!

stupid emo kid u gonna go to hell and u only say ur emo but ur really not u jus take every thing up the ass and feel bad about it

  • nice voice

  • Good job

  • How does that help at all??

  • For singing and playing at the same time, it helps to follow a process, or to follow certain steps. However, if you were looking to learn how to sing, or even to learn how to play, then it would be good to look for videos on singing techniques or guitar techniques

  • i meant to say good :)

  • ur technique is goo.. gives me hope lol.. btw u sing nice :)

  • Thanks, sounds real good

  • i can sing with a general chord pattern. but when i do the melody to the song and try and sing, it gets frustratingly annoying.

  • hey dude u got major talent

  • whats the chord progression

  • @slipknot310111

    D,D7,G,D,D,Bm,G,D,A,D.

    For the Chorus : D,G,D,A,D,G,D,A,D.

  • he doesnt teach how to sing and play!

  • @themachinegunn yup, i'm only teaching of steps you can take to be able to sing while playing the guitar

  • @jedimindless youre not teaching anything really ....youre just playing.....this is a piss poor excuse for a how to video

  • @jedimindless wtf?

  • CHINEESE LOL

  • hahahaha it sounds like tears in heaven

  • hi sorry its me again =D may i know what is the chord you play after D in the verse? the fingers seem to be within the first 2 frets, bottom 3 strings. thanks so much =)

  • the chord after the D is a D7. it's played using the 1st string 2nd fret, 2nd string 1st fret, and 3rd string 2nd fret

  • looks like an AD7 the first time and the second time it looks like a B, then the third time it looks like an Am

  • lol meant to say a d7

  • hi, may i know how do you know what timing is the song? is there a method u use to determine? thanks! =)

  • hmm, i don't know the proper way to know the timing of songs because i never went for any theory classes etc. but how i do it is to just count. For this song, notice 4 downstrokes and then change to the next chord. other songs uses 3 downstrokes etc. those are 3/4 songs

  • Very good vid!!

  • i dont get how if its in 4/4 time...then why do you do D, D, UDU, DD, DU....is that like doing 5 beats to a 4/4 time?

    help the poor beginner! lol

  • oh, the "commas" do not represent beats. I just put the commas there to signify if there's a pause when you do the strumming pattern. actually, if you go to my blog and read the post about "how to determine the strumming pattern for songs", you'll have a better understand about the strumming pattern. The address can be found on my channel description page

  • thank you!

  • thanks for the tips!

  • Awesome.

  • awesome job bro. =D very talented indeed.

    -bill (:
