Aya/Manaka didn't communicate well, too dependent on each other work to be at their best potentials, and she never understood his feelings.
Nishino differ in those regards, even if she didn't share the same dream, she support his and he did the same, she give him a helping hand, but allow him to finish it himself (be less dependent), talk about problems he has and take him out on dates to relief stress.
Aya needs a male version of Nishino, maybe Ookusa? Nah thats insulting to Nishino.
Ichigo 100% is the only manga ever affected me so much. Very long effects, I felt in love with all the girls in the story. It made you laugh, it made you sad, even to the point of crying. Kawashita Mizuki, greatest romantic mangaka ever. And Manaka shud eat dirt. I shud be the one.

Well, I like Manaka and Aya better ever since I first read the manga in the very 1st chapter cuz the whole relationship that Manaka encountered started with "Girl in strawberry panties" (which is Aya) I actually expected that they will be together at the end but turns out to be Nishino and I was really shock for that....either Satsuki, Aya, or Nishino, I happy with whoever he end up with..He just need to learned to make decision b4 everyone get hurt..
This manga got very good plot, but every time i wanna discuss the plot wif ppl all they think of this manga is that it is perverted and filled wif panties every 2-3 pages...
Ppl concentrated on all the perverted parts of the manga without really understanding and appreciating the plot and story...That`s the sad part...

Personally I'd wish for it's continuance.I wanted some epilogue and follow-up on how the gang turned-out to be,I guess in those moments, Nishino Tsukasa was the best person to be with Manaka..just imagine that,after four years of absence from each other,both of them still hoped and started a clean slate relationship!
i used to think that toujo was the one for manaka too but after readin the manga again (yes i loved it XD) i realized that nishino was only choosen becuz there was too much confusion between toujo and her love life which didnt allow manaka to make the best decision
I think it worked better with Ninshino. My next best prefence was the hyper one not tojou, but i did expect it to end wiv her caus she started the whole thingy.

Actually no, Nishino's personality type was more assertive. Unlike Toujou who portrayed the stereotypical, shy, brainy girl. Despite Toujou's new appearance/hairstyle, she was still the same personality wise. She never really achieved any assertiveness throughout the series, until, of course, volume 17/18.

Actually in AMV making you have to make the video fit the music. And second romance AMVs aren't about fast pace, action sequences. Just thought I point that out to you.

In the anime he never made a decision. The anime only goes through about half the manga. It never makes it to the end. I figure thats because the anmime wasn't as big of a hit so they cut it short. And thank you.

If you read the manga you will fully understand the series. You can't understand it just by watching the anime. Besides the anime was adapted from the manga.
i read the manga and i still think that it defeats the purpose of the series. just like in stories the main idea is near the first sentence, him seeing the girl in the strawberry panties set the mood for the story. without it ending with toujo, it doesn't make sense. that's my opinion. ^_^
yeah I can agree with you there but the story takes an even deeper meaning behind the strawberry panties. Take into the fact that Nishino wears em as well. That is why he got confused for a while.
true, true. but, i think the severe impact that toujou had on him throughout the entire series, especially the beginning, led you to believe that deep in his heart he would choose toujou. that's why, the fact that he chose nishino even before the series ended never really sunk in until the very end. if kawashita wanted us to be guessing, she would have made a mystery manga. i think she made the reader get too attached to toujou.
That was the whole point. The attachment to Toujou was deliberate in order for readers to get shocked at the end when he never went with Toujou. As far as the story goes it fits perfect that it happened like that. The morale of that is that life never works out the way you wanted it to be. I thought it was perfect hence why I love the manga so much.
yeah.... that's a really good lesson, because hollywood almost always does the opposite of that. it's strange that a new theme would come up for this, but you've got a good point. thanks for clearing things up for me

If you read the manga you will fully understand the series. You can't understand it just by watching the anime. Besides the anime was adapted from the manga.

i read the manga and i still think that it defeats the purpose of the series. just like in stories the main idea is near the first sentence, him seeing the girl in the strawberry panties set the mood for the story. without it ending with toujo, it doesn't make sense. that's my opinion. ^_^

yeah I can agree with you there but the story takes an even deeper meaning behind the strawberry panties. Take into the fact that Nishino wears em as well. That is why he got confused for a while.

true, true. but, i think the severe impact that toujou had on him throughout the entire series, especially the beginning, led you to believe that deep in his heart he would choose toujou. that's why, the fact that he chose nishino even before the series ended never really sunk in until the very end. if kawashita wanted us to be guessing, she would have made a mystery manga. i think she made the reader get too attached to toujou.

That was the whole point. The attachment to Toujou was deliberate in order for readers to get shocked at the end when he never went with Toujou. As far as the story goes it fits perfect that it happened like that. The morale of that is that life never works out the way you wanted it to be. I thought it was perfect hence why I love the manga so much.

actually i would prefer nishino and manaka in my own opinion. althought toujou is also suitable for manaka..
